Is it fine to write multiple books at the same time? I have a friend who has at least 6 books in the works, he's been writing two of them and the rest are in various states of planning, I only have three, I am writing 1 but I have another in planning, and another which is just an idea. I have been holding off on writing the one in the planning stage for fear that it might distract from my first book.

In my opinion, as long as it works for you go for it. It's a bit of a cop out answer but trust your gut, if you think you can write all three at once go ahead (which btw would be insanely impressive). You can also always just test it out, if you want to go ahead with the one in planning but it becomes to much later there is no reason why you can't go back to just writing one. Hope that helps and goodluck! 🫶

I've been writing the same fanfiction for a while but my issue is that I will get so far into my writing, stop for a while & forget what I've done so have to reread what I've written then realize i hate everything & scrap it then start over. I've done this like 5 times with the same story...help.

omg I have been there and it's so painful 😭 You could try planning it out more so when you come back to it you have even a rough plan or maybe try and set yourself a time limit for when u have to finish the fanfic so you keep chipping away at it each day. Personally, I had the same issue so I shelved the project and moved onto one a new idea I was really passionate about and I found it a lot easier and I could write more regularly so that's also an option. Sorry for the word vomit 🫣 I just wanted to say ever idea that came into my head in case any of them work for you

I have some stories in my head that I believe are good.. But I never actually got to writing them because I'm too anxious I'm doing something wrong in the process😂🥲

I have been THERE. It sucks. As far as the actual writing goes, the way I got past overthinking was putting on a timer (for like 30 mins or something) and having an amount of words I had to write that was pushing how much you could physically write in that time (so like 2000 which is possible).

@@AoifeTheAuthorThanks for the advice! Also I think if I got serious about writing it, I'll make sure to keep posting about it on Twitter or insta, so I kind of have that mental pressure to complete it and be productive Great video though! You gained a sub (specially because you're writing about f1)
