Just a quick tip if using the trio. Be sure to check the pH in the water after adding in the nutes because it will lower the pH and you may need to use some pH up solution based on the pH that comes out of your tap. Also, if you're using Happy Frog or Ocean Forrest soil you won't need to add any nutes for at least a few weeks. If you want to sow seed directly into soil I recommend Happy Frog. It's not as hot as the Ocean Forrest.

@@FOURFTP if everything looks good visually then keen doing what you're doing. It can sometimes take a couple weeks for the issue to present itself visually though so just keep an eye out. Out of the trio its really the tiger Bloom which brings it way down. My tap is like 7.4 and after adding 10ml/g of tiger bloom it drops down to 5.4 and I need to use a lot of ph up to get it at 6.3.

I'm using CloneX food (not rooting gel) and Great White for seedlings until they go into soil. Fox Farms Happy Frog has enough in it to never have to feed during veg. But ramping up to 400ppm of CalMag by week 2 of veg is barely keeping up with purpling stems. Week 4 veg run off was still 600ppms, so I probably could have fed, but I transplanted into Fox Farms Ocean Forest before flipping to flower, and plan to give the first and final General Hydroponics Grow, Micro, and Bloom flower feeding around week 5 of flower when the soil's run off PPMs are finally below 1k. I'm still on my 1st grow but they look amazing having never fed them. Run off PPMs are still over 1.5k in week 2 flower. Branches on branches on branches. The key for me has been to use a kitchen scale, and weigh the pot & soil dry before ever watering. Then water to run off and weigh that. Now with Max and min weights, never water before she gets down to less than 10%. So my 3 gal is 3.9kg dry, 5.3kg watered, and doesn't get water again until she's under 4kg. Sorry if this went too long. My point is that good soil and leaving them alone seems to be better than mixing lots of cocktails for plants. But I'm only 10 weeks into a perfect grow. There's still 6 weeks left to stunt them for the first time. Oh, and I use what I use because Welcome to the Grow Tent is the only GrowTuber I have found that has a step by step, completely duplicatable recipe, with all of the details. And that's what he uses.

I had my plants in it this year from small veg thru veg and my "healthy" leavs are just falling off by the touch or if you push em a lil bit they'll come right off! And yes everyone I'm feeding organics not synthetics and feed my soil that feeds my plants rather then just feeding the plant so it's not a deficiency nor toxicity this soil just runs so hot I wouldn't buy it EVER again! They cooked the hell outta that soil and cant believe it's not recommended to be diluted a bit with Happy Frog or whatever stuff of your own you might use. I completely switched it around on 1 of my plants bc it started flowering so I grabbed a bag of strawberry fields and added perlite/vermiculite/sphagnum to it for aeration for roots and amended it with Roots bloom terp tea and some bone meal for phosphorus, a little bat guano, an amendment that's heavy in iron, calcium, and sulfer! Also a 4-2-4 that's made by Jobes organics to enhance to biozome as it has alot of different beneficial bacteria and microbes in it too! Then when transplanted to her new home in 5gal fabric pot I put azos n mycos on top of soil b4 putting plant in but also sprayed the whole root ball when I took it out of old pot with a little water then sprinkle more of the azos n mycos on it so it sticks as its absolutely awesome for your roots and a must for me in my arsenal for transplanting! Then I fed her a little half dose of cal mag, a dash of Recharge and some "FISH SHIT" to bump up the microbes and so far shes doing much better! And I will tell you what! I will never mix my soil without adding vermiculite/perlite and peat moss in the future! You can just tell the quality of the soil is so much better and when it drys out persa it doesn't form a hard solid block!👍💯✌

Not against using Nutrients at all. In fact I can't wait to expand on what I'm doing and have learned. I do use FoxFarm soil's. If you notice the chart said for growing in soil okay so then if you are growing in Happy frog ocean Forest Coco loco or strawberry you don't need to feed all of these extra synthetic feeds on top of that you can add a little Bloom from time to time and things like that but not the whole line of food understand that these soils that I just mentioned already have all the food your plants need yes you can give them a little extra from time to time like grow or bloom or kelp whatever that don't make it a solid regiment the soil has already got the food in it only add extra if you think you need it but go light!!! Peace and God bless keep it green hope this helps out with some of you out there that don't realize this peace and God bless ✌️

@805BLAZING4 жыл бұрын
Its all the same gallon. You just have to make sure you put each one in the right order otherwise some of the nutrients will become locked out of solution. If using a silicate that ALWAYS GOES FIRST B4 ANYTHING ELSE. Cal mag is normally first if not using a silicate. There are some videos that show the order in which Fox Farm nutes are used. So yeah everything is mixed in the same gallon just be sure to thoroughly mix each one before adding the next. Also be sure to start with a fraction of whats called for then check your ec or ppms becuse using the recommended strength on the bottles for one gallon will skyrocket your ec/ppms way to high and you will burn your plants.

How much tiger bloom would I use in a drip irrigation through a fertilizer injector on 235 square feet. It’s a regular garden with the normal vegetables such as, tomatoes, beans, corn, squash, zucchini, cucumbers and peppers. I can’t find that info anywhere. My fertilizer injector holds up to 16 fluid ounces.
@PerfectGardensTV3 жыл бұрын
so does your drip injector siphon from your garden house? If so there is a rate that get mixed per gallon of water that flows through the drip irrigation. does it siphon a teaspoon per gallon? If not you will have to make a concentrated gallon and figure out your own dilution rate. Let me know if that makes since Mark

FOR HYDROPONIC SYSTEMS - on foxfarm and the EC/PPM levels - when you prep your mix for that week do you test it before you add it to your system and thats it? or do you everyday continue to add to keep the levels at the recommend EC and PPM? because after a day or two it seems my plants strip the water of all the nutrients and I'm not sure if I should add more to keep the levels up for the rest of the week or am I just done with that weeks feeding

Sorry for the late reply, When you mix up a fresh batch and are in a recirculating system what you want to boost up will want to add trace minerals (I recommend Drops of Balance) to keep your macro minerals unlocked. You will also want to keep your water topped off and you EC constant. As long as your minerals are balance, water is clean and you understand you plant def. you don't have to through any nuts away mark

FoxFarm Nutrient Trio - Soil The right juice for the right use! You asked for a 3-pack of our favorite FoxFarm Nutrients, so here it is: Big Bloom, Grow Big and Tiger Bloom, together at last. Use the Fox Farm Trio in sequence for brilliant blooms and luscious fruit all season long. Start with Grow Big for abundant green growth. Switch to Tiger Bloom at the first sign of bud set or flowering. Use Big Bloom throughout all growing cycles to heal root systems and increase nutrient cycling. Ideal for mature, late-season flowers and fruit. Click on the link for a complete Feeding Schedule (PDF) using all three formulas. And to give your plants the very best they deserve, don’t forget Happy Frog Potting Soil and Happy Frog Soil Conditioner with beneficial microbes, earthworm castings and bat guano.
