Perfectly mask a door jamb with no edge

This is perfect. I was so sick of rubbing door edges from the clear bridging to the foam tape so I started false edging like this with paper on the false edge and door/ adjacent panel and have had seamless results ever since. I’m planning on making a video so I’m glad I’m not the first painter to think of this.

Mine overspray went under truck and up in motor compartment and covered everything . How do I get this offf no easy way

If you use that hot solvent blending spray can, can you spray it to get a total melting effect on that line?
