Is there some documentation for how the new firmware update features work? I can't find anything anywhere. I updated my unit but all I have is the original manual download so I am not sure how to get into these new features. Thanks!

I just updated the firmare to version 2.0-- every time I plug the machine i get a spinning blue light. It's not working. any suggestions?

I really love my Perform VE and this update looks super cool! But my Perform VE came without the drum beats or the ability to sample. I know it was a small mishap with some of the earlier models and I've tried installing the necessary firmware to fix it. However, the driver that is used to read the VE is unable to detect it's there, leaving me no way to install the patch. Is there anyway I can fix this?

SAME PROBLEM.....I can sample and have drums on the unit....but the drivers i ve found (of 2016) doesn´t detect the unit on my W10....so I will miss the UPDATE 2.00 ...this is absurd!!!

Hey...its me again. Any update that finally works? Or did we all waste $500? Every time I plug my Perform VE in, I hope it works...it just never does. It freezes the minute I turn it on. Imagine if I were actually using this while performing live.

Hello the community ! I have a litlle problem with the perform VE. The machine goes into a freeze, when it receives a PEAK VOLUME through the microphone input. YOU TOO ? It's a shame it's really a great machin !

Mine freezes too. I was about to return the product on amazon but I’m still hoping that it will be fixed with a firmware update. Sometimes it helps to plug the power adapter last (after you’re done inserting the other cables).

Same here. It didn’t use to freeze but now it just goes into a freeze 2-5mins into use. So irritating - for live performance it is now unreliable. Very disappointed. Why did this use to not happen and now it does helicon??? Firmware all updated too

@@c1tylimits I don't know if it's a coincidence, but I plugged my YELLOW TC into 9V. The sound crunches a bit more, but anyway.... he didn't freeze !!! So sometimes, i used my TC in 9V and another time in 12V.... tell me if you find the answer :)

you don't need a keyboard to use it, even a microphone. You can enjoy all the mic effects and mini drum set up with an headphones.

@@RobinJohnson - Havn’t updated firmware in a while so i would need to check. Another issue with midi is that the whole unit has to be restarted if you send a program change to it with a different midi channel (so usin midi thru). Is this a known bug?

How can we assign keys to use for drum samples? And would I be able to assign my drum pad/triggers instead? - This would be amaaaazing

The drum samples are assigned to standard kick, snare, and high-hat notes on midi channel 10. If you have a midi keyboard that allows you to assign note values from a separate midi channel to the pads then the pads should work perfectly! What midi-keyboard do you use? The pads might be set by default to trigger the drum samples.

M-Audio Axiom 49 mkii- they were assigned to the first three drum triggers, which is super convenient! Love this update so far!

is there a way to turn off auxiliary to the looper? Or is it always sent to the looper?

In my case I have an at home arrangement where everything feeds in to my sample where I would love to have the aux in the looper. But when playing out I would feed the sampler to the aux and pass through... or if I have a sequence with my synth and don’t want it to double with the looper, it would be nice to know if the aux signal can pass the looper before updating. Great update either way!

About time...my Perform VE has been jacked since 2017...and the only reason I didn't send it in is because I didnt want $500 to get lost in the mail. I hope this new firmware update is worth something. I'm into Software...I was almost tempted to create my own driver updates/code for this great machine. Great machine...firmware/software/drivers just need to be more reliable.

yeah, bought this! Used happily perform VG before! at least the links in the delivered introduction are both not in use! So no Driver, No VoiceSupport! Are you kidding me? No users manual delivered with this. No tutorial how to plug, no tutorial how to use with DAW! So I might never can use this! Guess what: I LL SEND IT BACK and think of never buy any tc helicon stuff again ! Thanks for wasted Time Energy and money! hardly pissed!
