When voguers talk about voguing to the back beat it usually means moving to a simple 8 beat cadence focusing on just the bass and crash. The original voguing divas vogued to the back beat which is different from the more modern way.

@@jsein09 in a vogue beat theres usually like 2 rhythms its the crash rhythm then the beat that the crash rhythm plays on and those 2 rhythms are on beat with each other, the back beat is the latter

Typical. One old way..two new way. Everyone else is VF. Then eliminations (three blind mice) to knock out those two styles for the gaiety. Old way and new way takes more discipline to do over VF (which is more freestyle) and should be recognized for that. The 10s that got through...half of them got in on their energy vs talent. This panel..I can't.
