Topping lift hasnt been loose, main leach shows and seems like guy steering and staring at main is a begginer...great cat nevertheless but Catana should offer boats with different steering stations configurations. If i had the money , would not buy a Catana cause not covered protected safer steering. alternative

Yeah well, sometimes when you're taking videos, you get very limited with time and location for shooting, so it often can't all be ideal when you have to take a video. So, from 40 seconds of video you have concluded that captain who took her across the world and is sailing her since 2013, very often single handed, is a beginner. From my point of view, C58 is one of the best Catanas ever produced. If you would spend a few hours on the boat you would realize it, I'm sure.

@@CatamaranZeeSales i am not saying that, thats your interpretation. I explained, love catanas but their steering stations are not for me, had skin cancer from many years working and living at sea, so i d preffer a more sheltered place to steer and spend watches more confortably, less exposed to weather etc. Thats all and topping lift observation is a normal thing to watch as sail does not look right messing your video i am sure they probably corrected later but its on video...best luck i am sure you ll sell it as Catanas are known for quality cats and fast.

@@rnunezc.4575 Sorry to hear about skin cancer and thank you for the comments. And I understand the pros and cons of side helm stations. Well if you have spent so much time on cruising cats like this, you would realize that in most of the cases when cruising, trimmed well, she spends her time on the autopilot. Unless you want to have fun out there sailing, so the location of the helms is in fact well thought for what it is. One does not really need to stay there all the time exposed to elements, that's sure. Her main advantage are efficient hulls that perform in excellent in light winds, they work incredibly well in rough seas and fuel efficiency is still among the best in class even knowing that she is 2002. She is not for everyone, I cannot imagine her as a weekend boat. She is built to sail around the world in comfort and enough speed and there are rare ones that can do this better today.

@@CatamaranZeeSales i disagree on autopilot as you need to think it could stop working, also on real rough weather you need to do your watch on helm surfing correctly the waves and not over use autopilot etc. Its just my way of thinking and cruising. I am now 66 and have done enough of exposing myself...
