i find it hard to believe this thing can come anywhere near 13.5 tons light displacement. this is a bali with daggerboards.

Looking at the numbers, my take out is that it is there or there abouts in terms of weight with their selective use of carbon. I tend to use the manufacturers weights as a relative guide rather than an absolute number as it is in all their interests to make them look good. The sail plan is powerful especially if you go overlapping genoa, for me it is an interesting positioning (price/comfort /performance) and good to see so much choice in this market segment

@@katamaranscom at 1.3M USD+ you could get an HH, a Balance, an Outremer, an ITA, etc., this catana would not even be on my list.
