Yes, keep up your interview vids! It's very helpful to hear other experienced people, and you ask good questions and love it that you give them space to answer.

Hahaha I only wanna downsize to have a smaller container on my back. I wish I could make a 168 Pilot look like I have a 64 VK on my back.
@SkydiveVibes5 жыл бұрын
I hear you but don't do it hahaha. You might want to try some other container for more confort tough. ;)

Oh I’m not for sure. I’ve already been hurt and I wasn’t even doing anything crazy or downsizing. I intend to take my time and enjoy the ride as I go.

Skydive Vibes speaking of canopies what do you fly?

@@callsignblaze4388 I've downsized for the same reason. I've owned a 2nd hand rig and decided to had done one custom for me. Since it is a expensive equipment I want it to be "time proof".

@@callsignblaze4388 I jump a Saber2 170. I am actually at that stage of being ready to downsize. I am aiming for a Saber2 150 nothing extreme. I am a freefall type of skydiver. The canopy for me is to get back down safely.

That is why the canopy flight courses are extremely important, specially for those skydivers that are under 50 jumps. It is important to recognize the strong winds and how to comeback from a longspot. I have 267 jumps to date (including some 30 hop n' pops) and I started with the typical student gear (260 rental due to my weight and size) and today I own a Pilot 188 but I have jumped my gear only 78 times. I guess I'll try to downsize until I feel more tan comfortable with it. Love your videos, blue skies!!

Thanks, Antonio! Same here, I have around 150 jumps on my 170 Sabre2. Looking to downsize now that I feel fully comfortable but I have been anxious thinking about it for a while before.

This advice is good for beginners but not everybody is the same. Some people take to canopy flight a lot easier.
