I'll share this with my friend, she needs one. I've been using the SonoALti 2 and I just yesterday finally got my VOG! Once you're out of AFF you need to get an audible. Flight 1 requires you to have one anyways. Plus it's nice if you have something tracking your jumps and giving you extra info. This looks like a great purchase for the money. I have about 50 jumps and this channel has helped a lot. Thanks!

I got my skydive license last July and since then I've also had the Pebbles Altitude Alert. The part is simply unbeatable for the money. You can set a lot of heights, whether climb or descent, and it reacts very, very precisely. In order to connect it to the cell phone, you have to turn on the location service of the cell phone, otherwise it cannot connect to the cell phone, despite Bluetooth.

I picked up this one as my first audible and I love it. It's very intuitive to use Bluetooth and a simple app. You can set many different altitudes, but also save profiles to load up in case you have different scenarios. I really appreciate the message they have in the package regarding making this safety measure much more accessible as a need more than an option.

You turn it on before jumping and then it automatically detects when you're going up in the plane and in freefall. So you just have to turn it on in the morning and turn it off when you're done jumping/at the end of the day :)

What's the main difference between a cheaper audible like this and something more expensive like a vog, one beeps and one speaks that's all I know!

I guess it is a branding thing. Also the voice one provides more value hence maybe more high end. In our sport what matter most is reliability. I always jump with 2 audibles.
