Just love this song so much!! Myles playing spanish style intro segment and the first guitar solo in a classic rock style, then Mark playing the more metal outro solo is so epic! Great vox as usual and grand chorus!! Awesome band!

One of the reasons the Alter Bridge drummer sits behind plexi is because Myles has acute tinnitus (interesting that you mentioned your own problems in this area, and I have it too so I can totally empathise). Myles almost quit music after his diagnosis because he was so worried about losing his hearing, but now he takes a bunch of safety measures on stage to help mitigate the problem.

They normally don’t do that live, so I think the main reason they did it here in particular is so that the drums don’t bleed into the super sensitive mics on the orchestra instruments.

@@drakonisasmrtist9471 Probably right tbh. The tinnitus issue is well documented though, and Flip 100% uses plexi around his cymbals in regular live gigs (I saw them last year and he had the shields up then).
