Myles Kennedy is the singer, Mark Tremonti is the guitarist who also has a band called Tremonti where he sings lead, together they have 150+ brilliant songs. Mark Tremonti is one of the best guitarists out there and Myles also is a fantastic guitarist whilst being phenomenal in vocals

Awesome band! This is one of only a few songs without guitar solos, but a beautiful song with meaningful lyrics and killer vocals! That high note Myles Kennedy hits and holds live like that is so pure and powerful! Mark Tremonti is the lead guitarist who also has a nice complimentary baritone vocal to Myles’ natural tenor. Myles plays an excellent guitar in a bluesy classic rock and sometimes jazzy style. He does more than a few solos in the band, but his style complements Marks usually more aggressive and shreddy metal guitar style (although he does many tender finger picked licks ). Im kinda like you - only discovered them about 8 yrs ago - and haven’t looked back since! Easy favorite band for me of the millennium!

There's a bunch of discussion about the actual tuning of this song (Alter Bridge use a LOT of alternate tunings). The official tab book and most online tabs differ. But there's an interview with Mark Tremonti where he says he plays it in open Gm, a half-step down (C# F# C# F# A C#). Probably a safe bet from the horse's mouth.

You picked an Alter Bridge song that they really don't do live. It was 9 years before they did it here for Royal Albert Hall with strings. So if you remove Myles Kennedy from this group and add Scott Stapp, you have Creed. After Scott left Creed, Mark Tremonti (the guitarist) recruited Myles Kennedy (singer) and Alter Bridge was born in 2004 (first album). Myles sings in 3 bands - Alter Bridge, Slash & The Conspirators and his own band Myles Kennedy. Mark Tremonti plays and sings also in 3 bands - Alter Bridge, Creed and Tremonti. Tremonti even did a singing Album with Frank Sinatra hits last year. These guys are extremely talented.
