ooooh Mishimoto. @3:02 Is the blue one also Mishimoto Brand? What's the Rated CFM on one of the Blue ones versus one of the Mishimoto Black ones ? @7:46 did the kit come with the rubber seal for the shroud? @12:43 Working like a true DIY guy @14:32 long nights early mornings 😁😅 Love the content, good stuff man, Can't wait to hear on if its better and by how much.

Hey brother, I hope your project is coming together we'll. The fans are exactly same design. I think the cfm is not different but I don't have the numbers. What makes the whole difference is the shroud and yes it comes with the foam tape. It's a very well put together kit and well worth the money. It's better by a lot but because of the shroud. A lot. Car cools off in minutes now. Another thing is that behind the fan motor Mishimoto put a plate which helps to protect it from heat. I loved it

Did you have any problems with it blowing fuses or relays ?
@CarModsGarage2 жыл бұрын
No it didn't. So far it's working perfectly. Bump the fuse up 5 amps and see if it helps

Hi sr!! You think working whiteout turbo?

@@CarModsGarage Sorry for not explaining myself well, but I want to put the fans like yours on my eclipse 420a but I don't want to put a turbo on it?
@CarModsGarage2 жыл бұрын
@@miltonescobar7671 oh ya you can do it in case your Eclipse overheats or you want to make it prettier. You don't need the turbo to do that.

So left side positive right side negative?

You need to see what the fans specs are. Usually if its switched it will spin the opposite way

@@CarModsGarage It’s because i have a 4g63 radiator in my car and i want to run the mishimoto fans i wired it the way you did but idk if they would work

@@kingestuardo5317 are you on the OEM ECU? Try to let the car go to working temperature and keep an eye on the fan starting and if not then turn off the car and check the wire. Having a multimeter helps.
@kingestuardo5317 Жыл бұрын
@@CarModsGarage Yeah i have the oem ecu and i let the car get to operating temps for about 5-10 mins and they didn’t turn on
@CarModsGarage Жыл бұрын
@@kingestuardo5317 get a multimeter and check the connector coming from the car to see what is positive and what's negative. I remember I joined a wire to keep the low and high speed working together. Not sure about the 4g63 setup but mine had three wires one was power and the other two were speed. You might want to research that to see what is what. The other thing is that you need to assure that the 5 or 10 minutes idling were enough to reach the temp to start the fan

My only pet peeve, as it's like that on my car too, is that the fan is lined right up with the supposed to be cold air intake☠️.

Hey my friend, I have seen some reports of overheating due to the "log" style heavy cast turbo manifold. You may want to have a look at these performance manifolds : www.xtremefabrications.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=4 I am not associated with them but I have heard many reports of much better cooling overall and really really big HP gains as compared to the log style exhaust manifolds. Downside is that with some of these custom exhaust manifolds you may have to find a way to flip the shroud and reverse polarity to a push fan or purchase a purpose built push fan set to make clearances with ac and power steering. Recently found you - I am also in IT. Love your channel. I don't miss a video!

Thanks for the info brother. Funny to find another IT guy that like cars. I will check those out and yes I can just flip the polarity and it should do it but for now the clearance is good and it's cooling property but ya I want to replace this manifold for sure
