Performance Updates: AE 1, Sabrina 1, Shadow 5 & Shock Wave 5 Pro

In this video we go over some updates on the following basketball shoes:
- Adidas AE 1
Weight did not become an issue over time. Traction on dust was slightly improved and the outsole seems to be very durable so far. There’s been also no decline in upper flexibility or responsiveness on feet.
- Nike Sabrina 1
For most players, the overall comfort should continue to improve as you break it in. However, the fit for those with wide feet and high volume feet likely will not get better over time. Traction on the translucent outsole has been a little inconsistent from my experience.
- Wade Shadow 5
The major quest for this shoe has been finding a pair of socks that wouldn’t get stuck onto the BOOM insoles… We don’t have a lot of options, so that feature is a gimmick but traction continues to get better which was very encouraging.
- Anta Shock Wave 5 Pro
Heel slippage needs to be addressed, and you can fix it with a small heel cushion pad or something that works in the same way. Otherwise, everything else has stayed consistent and this is a top shoe for guards in my opinion.

And I bought the heterochromia colorway (black outsole, same as your black knight cw) but on the first run i had yesterday it does seem to pickup more dust than my wow10. Idk is it because i need to break it in? did you need to break in your sw5 pro before the traction got better (like least dust pickup)?

Great video! I have the solid rubber Sabrina 1s and I can confirm the traction is really good. Dust does get attracted still, but is easy to wipe in between games. I would love to see a Curry 11 update and how the Gelburst 27 holds up compared to the latest shoes

i have a personal update on them there great shoes but id say keep them indoors because the durability is god awful especially in the sole of the shoe it literally disconnects from the upper after only a few months

I got the sabrina 1 team colorway and i had some outsole separation and with the ae 1 a part of my toe started to blitser and bleed whenever i wore the shoes but overall good shoes

I got gum outsole on sabrina 1 and it slip and slides on many different spots. Imo one of the worst ball shoe to release. Fit is terrible, outsole slides, pointless lacing, no impact protection, no nothing. Terrible.
