The reason this feels like it could be an NCT 127 or U concept is because for this album (NCT 2018, Empathy) they switched concepts. NCT Dream did “Go” which was more like an NCT 127 concept more mature and dark, and NCT 127 did “Touch” which was a very cutesy, bubbly concept which was more like NCT Dream was.

SM have this training for different genres in dancing for their artists. Jaehyun mentioned in NNN that he took dance sport lessons during his training period. SM trained their artists to different genre of dancing for them to become skilled dancer.

GO was such a unique concept it was honestly one of the dreamies best eras.. the lyrics of the song of breaking the social standards this along with them being teens during that time showing that they can be mature too, the dance had so many details kind of the feel of like.. rebelling teens and it's so sad watching them grow up this era was truly showing their potential, we need another concept like this i dont think any other kpop group gave me the vibes this song gives ! it was ahead of the time !!!!

Go is the second best NCT Dream title track for me- sitting behind We Go Up- as the overall message hit me hardcore. I spent my teenager years spray b0mbing at private walls just to convey a goverment-trigerring-awakening phrases. "We aim for a better world" as Jaemin specifically said, this song just sums up my youth.

Renjun is pronouced as it looks since it is a chinese name. "Ren joon" and so thats what I say. Although the other members say more "Lun Joon" or "Injoon" (his Korean name) so I think you can choose what you would rather say

Sorry just bringing this up just now If you romanize Renjun's Chinese name it would be "Ron-jin" (this is how you actually pronounce it but if you romanize it based on Korean characters, the spelling would be different). Since his name is Chinese, Korean and English romanizations are different. The Chinese members' names in Korean are written on how they pronounce it in Chinese. (Not their Korean names, I'm talking about their Chinese names and how it's written in Korean) An example would be Chenle's name, his name would be Chenle if it's romanized in English but his name would be Chon-lo (more accurately as Cheon-leo) if you romanized it in Korean But yes, Renjun's Korean name is Hwang Injoon (황인준) I just wanted to share what I've noticed and I hope this is helpful (I'm currently studying Korean btw)

The vibe I get with NCT Dream used to throw me off but then I realized that it literally is the development of a human. Chewing Gum was like being a child with We Go Up heading into Adolescence. 11:04 Yesss Jisung's popping😭😭 I'm not 100% sure since I'm somewhat new to the fandom so idk predebut stuff as much, but I'm like 99% sure that jisung mainly did popping genre before debut. I'm pretty he did many genre of dance predebut/pre audition but I'm pretty sure he specialized in popping. Anyways it's very apparent when you watch his fancams, especially if you watch it before/after watching Haechan's fancam since he's more of a smooth kind of dancer. Even though Haechan is my #1 bias in NCT (I have sooo many biases😅) Jisung's dance literally makes me so happy he's so freaking talented I mean he debuted when he was 14!!! 3:13 IDK if I'm remembering correctly but I think in 2018 there were talks that Go really was supposed to be the 127 song while Touch was supposed to be the Dream song, especially considering the order they released them, the pattern usually is U ➡ 127 ➡ Dream, but for Empathy they did it U ➡ Dream ➡ 127 so there might be some truth to that. “oh noooo tailgatingggg, so bad”. nct dream knows it too, that’s why they tapped the passes on the scanners before jumping, but from that angle it looked like the gates stayed closed haha. i remember renjun telling us back when the song dropped. it’s so cute that they were playing the rebellious teenager concept but didn’t actually tailgate; LEGENDS!

i remember feeling shocked when i watched go during empathy era. watching them from chewing gum to we young it always felt fresh and youthful. i'm the same age as the boys and watching them perform go felt empowering since i was going thru some mature changes in my life as well. i stanned them so hard ever since! still my favorite concept and cb to date. 💚 their choreo, vocals and rap were so domineering it makes u feel rebellious yet in control.

They were like switching concept with NCT 127. While they were doing GO, not too long after that NCT 127 came out with that lovely cutesy concept with “Touch”. And NCTzen were loving that.
