"There is no weak dancer in this group" one of the things I think is most amazing about Seventeen is their depth of talent; and because they make their own choreography they can tailor each move to fit the member who's executing it. Other groups may have hard impressive choreography, but it's always the same few members shoved out front to execute it. With Seventeen you almost can't tell who's a member of the performance team because they don't spend all their time at the front of formations. I think it shows a lot of humility on the part of the performance team as well as a massive amount of hard work and effort from the vocalists and rappers to dance at that level. Instead of an outside choreographer coming in and just giving all the hardest parts to the best dancer, Seventeen finds the absolute best way to make every member shine. If there's any member who can't do a given move perfectly it's not put in the choreo 'you're only as strong as your weakest link'. Overall it's just A+ teamwork. Very refreshing to see.
@JeffAvenue4 жыл бұрын
yeahyeahitskelsey yeah it’s definitely a big plus doing your own choreo cause you know what you can cannot do and just really highlight the strengths. I prefer doing my own choreo too for that same reason. A+ indeed!

I love that you picked up on the jumps in the orange scenes, that’s The8/Minghao doing them and he was a b-boy before debuting so he’s got AMAZING body control. I think what’s even more impressive about those scenes is that he was using a trampoline and it’s so so SO easy to lose control doing those moves with a trampoline because of all the excess energy created, he did exceptionally well doing those moves which is why those scenes are my personal favourites from the mv 😊
@laurainathunderstorm4 жыл бұрын

You have to see the full member fancam version, you can see the choreo cleary! The canon part at the beginning of the song is amazing!

Yo why’s no one recommending Getting Closer? That one’s pretty strong too!

i would suggest you to react to them according to the date of the release 😂 so that you can grasp the whole story line (each of their song is related to each other 🤔) just a reminder though, svt does many different kind of concepts so you will see many sides of them!

Jeff, props to you for learning their names fast. Also there's really something about Seventeen's choreography that demands or arrests attention especially when they're performing live (i.e. award shows, concerts). And I also agree with you, there is no weak dancer in this group. Thank you for this video 😊 Looking forward to more of Seventeen from you.

I love your reactions, specially the way you analyze the performance and give technical opinions about their choreographies. I hope you can react to Seventeen's Getting Closer, the music and also the concept is very different form their previous concepts, it's much more darker and also the choreography is a bomb.

Seventeen set the blueprint for having performance heavy grps and having all members are good dancers without any professional hole. They own the Pioneers of Kpop title for sure

The one doing the jumps and acrobatics at 10:52 and 10:57 is The8, also known as MingHao (a member of the performance team, who used to be a dance coach for an idol training show in China).

Because they're sooooo good, you probably didn't notice that Seungkwan is entering and exiting at some parts of the song in their dance practice. He had an injury the time they were filming this. #SeventeenTheBest 💪♥️

I actually have a recommendation that you actually might like but it still doesn’t have a dance prac 🥺 It’s a new release by Got7 and it’s titled ‘Not By The Moon’ which takes a concept of romeo and juliet :D

seoking jin oh yes! I want to wait for the dance practice though. To avoid separate videos/reactions. I heard maybe next week?

almost every single title song seventeen likes to try out different styles and thats super neat theyre also extremely dedicated to their fans but imo it feels different than other groups when they discuss carats or when they're like we made a song for you such as in home and the lyrics are essentially like "you are my home and we are your home" and they even stay stuff like "even if you move on we are so thankful for you" members have even said so themselves that if they were able to make even the slightest difference in their fan's lives, then they're okay even if fans move on later LIKE??? damn...
