I think what’s important to remember about GOT7 is that although all of members wrote majority of their discography the company was extremely controlling of what they dictated as “GOT7’s Sound” and so the members had to write music the company felt fit the sound they wanted for them. They weren’t allowed to take risk like this. So as we’ve seen the members go solo every release people say “oh I didn’t expect this” it’s the real colors of GOT7 that are starting to blast through the concrete walls their company put up. This year is gonna be amazing for them & bam started if off perfectly

I totally agree with you.GOT7 have always shown versatility as a group, but their members have a lot to show for in their solo careers. They have spread their wings and are flying steady and confident, feeling the taste of freedom. I support them and I'm loving it

All of us are surprised about this pre-release . But Bambam has this collaboration since he was in JYP but like always just because the company didn’t vibe with this song it wasn’t release up until now .

@@reve8392 nope it is not rejected. Just not shown to jyp. Actually, some ahgases have speculated that the members haven’t send their songs to jyp since end of 2019 since they know how their creations are going to end up if they keep giving their songs to that company

I wasn't expecting this either. I loved it! And for the tutting and stuff, Seulgi (and Irene as well) have both continued to learn the art. They've both posted videos since Naughty of them learning and doing different tutting choreographies! It seems that they really enjoyed it and are trying to continue to grow that part of their artistry!

Seulgi said in the behind the scenes video that she had never tried this before. They refer to the choreo as contemporary dance, maybe that is why she doesn't feel like she has done something like this before.

This collab is just a BLESSING and ART. The whole concept reminds me of Monster and Naughty, the whole mirroring thing and the other person inside me idea. However, the vibe is completely different, like you said it's elegant and just... beautiful.

This demonstrates why it is so disappointing that Korea doesn’t allow mixed sex dancing for the most part. You miss this kind of dance! At least let same-sex pairs do stuff like this (think Jimin and Jungkook in Black Swan at MMA, which was gorgeous).

That's GOT7 sound we starting to witness after several years of controlling from JYP. Every member has a unique colour to bring to the table and BamBam's one is my favorite so far. Who Are You is soul lifting. It was pure, light and soft. Their chemistry was the best I've ever seen and Seulgi's tone is definitively my favorite in RV.

jype, in terms of handling got7, was more about putting them in trends happening at the time. they really fumbled on what box they wanted to put got7 in so the entire time it was more about making them follow a trend rather than leading one when they can easily do so if given the opportunity. though you see a lot of that creativity leaking out through unit promotions like jj project verse 2, jus2 and the solo stuff from the lullaby album (just to name a few). there's always something there that might one day just slap us in the face when we least expect it lmao especially now that they can easily achieve it through their own stuff also, you mentioned the video reminded you of Arrival. Meanwhile, I keep thinking about the Eclipse MV lol I guess it's the colors and the lighting that got me thinking about it tho but I get you. :)
