i love how the finale song in this whole era is a mix of both black and pink. hylt gave us the usual black girl crush sound, while ice cream gave us a whole pink cute, innocent concept. lovesick girls is more of a pink concept in terms of how the song sounds but the lyrics are more 'black'. the music video as well is a mix of both black and pink, we have the jennie car scene, jisoo in the rain scene, rosé in the tub scene, the lisa scene with the boy, and the jenlisa rap portion as the 'black' side of the music video. meanwhile the girls in the car scene, the rosé guitar scene, the scene where the four of them are goofing around are the 'pink' side of the music video. basically, im saying that blackpink really nailed this one and im looking forward to their future sounds!

Its like a mix of AIIYL, D4, PWF and Stay, you get that 80's synth/piano-like sounds in the chorus similar to AIIYL, the chorus is like the chorus from PWF, you get that badass and savage feel on the verses and that amazing rap similar to D4 and u also get that mature feel like Stay❤ SOTY, period.

This is actually really said hence that both jennie, lisa,, and rose loved the same guy. Jennie was fighting with the guy in the car. Lisa was cuddling with the guy, looked like something bad happened hence her smashing his car. Rose was playing guitar with the guy but when they started panting, you can see the dynamics of it becoming happy and smiles, then in a snap of a finger so many emotions and fighting. I want to say this is my favorite BP song ever. I love that sad meaning hidden within this up beat song.

i didn't get to watch lovesick girls right away when it came out, so i watched it when i came home from a football game. as i was trying to go to sleep after the game, i just started crying and for NO REASON. i just randomly started crying. so i decided to finally watch lsg because i had been so busy. and omg. i ended up crying even more.

This song was a mix. I feel like the beginning Jennie verse was more darker and badass. Then Lisa came in very badass. But once Jisoo picked up, it brightened. The chorus is very catchy and bright. Then Lisa came in with her swag and then Jennie too. Rose and Jisoo bridge was very emotional and different. Then bright again. Overall this song was really good in mixing 2 or 3 different styles together.
