Best decision that SM ever made is how they actually made use of NCT U's concept and made these different lineups to show how well blended members are. They showcased rapping and singing, in just ONE album! I'm so happy right now and I couldn't wait for more for this NCT 2020 Project

I agree with how WayV songs don't really allow HenYang to showcase their rapping skills. And they did so well here. Then there's Jeno, freakin' eating up his verse. I think this is his best rap yet and definitely my fave. Johnny's rap part, although seeming to die down the vibe, is actually the most unique part of the song. While everyone's spiting fire, growling and barking, his part was like, "Look, I already owned this song can I just go chill?" Sungchan was good but goodness I still find him cute is something wrong with me? He did so well for his track debut! MARK LEE FREAKIN RAPPER OF THE CENTURY! WHAT CAN HE NOT DO? Before NCT existed SM rappers from Exo, SuJu, SHINee and TVXQ were mostly bashed for their "awful" rapping and SM were more known for their vocals and dancing. But look at what SM have come up with NCT.....a full mixture of vocal, rap, dance, performance and visual. Now all we need is a great female rapper from SM to get out of 'SM terrible rappers' stigma. ps. I really like SHINee and SuJu rap line but it's facts that other groups had more awesome rappers than them.

Yeah I agree, sm groups before nct have never had 'real' rappers, just singers who do rap parts occasionally, and usually melodic raps. NCT really changed that.

SM rap is always made to pretty much fit the song just like in pretty much any other company but SM has had a number of good rappers that people ignore just because of the company they're from. Just like SM is said to have a typical kpop sound even if they're the company that releases some of the most unique and diverse music. People have a bias against SM they refuse to acknowledge.

Last time I was this early NCT 2018 was just happening No but in a serious note, I'm so hyped for this NCT 2020 project. This unit is actually really cool and lit because we can see how their different rap styles blend with each other. We all know how all of them have different rap styles, specially knowing how they're in different units. Mark, Johnny and Yong has a different style blending with 127. Jeno also has a different one with Dream that's why I was so surprised with him in this song because holy shit I didn't expect this. Yangyang and Hendery too with WayV! Also because they're both rapping in their 4th language. Not everyone can get a skill to rap in different languages! And Sungchan, I totally didn't expect that! I mean I kind of did because him and Yangyang haf trained together and seeing Yangyang's skills in WayV made me expect so much from him. But Sungchan managed to go beyond it

Mad city tops it for me coz its so raw and and hit straight to the gut. MARK lee is actually fully capable he is not yet in full throttle. What i noticed in this unit though is that they were able to show the exuberance of making music together and the spike in the confidence of everyone as a whole. I think Johnnys rap is the least challenging because he is not a main rapper but he did SO GOOD, he held his own ground in a group of main rappers and actually his verse has a lot of people obsessed so I’m really glad to see him grow and get more opportunities like this 💚💚 he’s been venturing on different things and it shows how much better he gets every time

I've been watching Jeno since sm rookies and I am so happy that he was finally able to showcase his rap skills. He really improved a lot since his debut era, and each year, he just keep on improving and getting better. I feel like SM is not giving him the chance to fully showcase his skills and talents (same case with HenYang) and finally, he was able to do it now. I believe there is more he can show, and I'm looking forward so much for it.

They all showed different styles, like Johnny had more a 1990's style while Sungchan's sounded a lot like 2014-ish Korean style (reminded me of Epik High a bit?). Hopefully we'll hear second verses from the other members other than TY & Mark (they had two parts in the track video) in the full song 😊

What really surprised me the most in Misfit is Jeno. Its my first time seeing Jeno this intense. I just love the crazy part. Taeyong and Mark awesome as usual. Yangyang and Hendery blend very well with the concept. And I agree with you regarding Johnny and I still need time for Sungchan. But lets wait and see when then full song drops.

wow, i've been looking for reactions towards MISFIT bc i needed to hear how other people see and hear this rapline take their rapping styles to another level and so far, your commentary was the bestest one to hit it right where i think it should. TOTALLY AGREE WITH EVERYTHING U JUST SAID. especially about sungchan ang henyang. sungchan really is a new flavor to add into nct with his rapping style that doesn't seem like a sound that a rookie would do right at his debut song, he sounds well-seasoned, like an old-school vibe which is completely new. as for henyang, hngggg I LOVED HOW U WORDED IT OUT, they were really able to pop if off on this one where you can see where their real potential are. so yeah, THANKS FOR THIS. totally the bestest reaction and commentary ;)
