I feel like SM encourages the stylistic differences in execution. To nurture the potential for more solo debuts later on. Plus I feel like this allows for the members to hit the moves with ease and be swaggy/exude personality compared to groups who do more robotic synchronization

It all makes sense now that I have noticed NCT does not primarily focus on robotic synchronized dance but their dances are complex, mechanical and includes intricate moves ... I always thought why but I also noticed that NCT is more individually strong group compared to many other groups as each member holds individually strong presence and each one of them is a master of certain area/areas. I also think that SM trained them in a way that in the future each one of them can individually hold themselves in the industry.

Wow, I finally found appreciation for Jeno, and I like it. Thanks Jeff .. kinda needed that, I guess I'm getting tired because I feel people really slept on him. Maybe because people always thought that he is a visual and he has the impression that everyone must love him, so people didn't pay more attention to his talents or wanted to compliment his individually. But this boy seriously needs more appreciation like this. He is one of the best dancers on nct and the members admit that too. I've read that many people praise him for being one of the members who always shines at concerts because his aura always carries the audience. And remember, he's always trying to give the audience something new like doing acrobatics or even tearing his clothes lol. Not to mention the discussion about his duality and the title of master of expression that many people agree on. I really adore him.

@@artistblue18 i am Leeom/Markzen and had my eye on him and Taeyong from the start so I am very well aware of how talented he is. Nut he did go through teenage awkwardness, as a rapper i had no doubt since Mad City. Misfit just showcases whats been there all along. He has his own signature bounce too. NcT however has a LOT of very charismatic members onstage. Im not a TyongF but Taeyong as an example has a very encompassing stage aura, even with that you have Yuta with the animalistic vibe too, among others. This era he just let himself go in a good a way, ans held back from blending in. Which means, that was a stylistic choice. Working with SuperM members clearly had a lot of advantages for the hoobaes thats why I pointed it out.

Yuta's dancing needs to be highlighted more. He has a very distinctive different dance style. I noticed, in the group, most of the audience without proper knowledge about dancing really don't understand how beautifully Yuta dances. Unless they see his fancams. Also SM not giving Yuta proper lines or screentime doesn't help as well. Notice when Yuta moves, insane body control he has, his overall technique, balance over whole body - It's absolutely insane. He is literally one of the top 6 NCT dancers out there who can also sing amazingly, has one of the best visuals of kpop. Yuta is a complete package. Once you start seeing Yuta's fancams there is no going back. Yuta aced this one as expected even though he has unhealed knee & back injury!

About the diamond ace, Yuta, he is so suitable for work it & is such a versatile artist. Any sort of choreography you give him he nails it. Here it's more like a chilled groovy yet contrasting type of dancing and Yuta is so precise with his moves, not going offbeat or hitting too hard. His swag just makes his style glow out even more. This is what I love about his dancing. Also given the fact that he's had a knee & back injury yet he is this smooth makes me more amazed.

So Jeno is a monster. I can see that. I never thought of him as Kai-like monster mostly because his power makes me think so much more of U-Know (TVXQ, I should try to check him out, he is well known for his vocal and dancing skills and his very passionate energy, he is a monster too, Jisung actually appears in one of his MV). But I agree! He is a monster! He also has his own distinct style and he is mesmerising to watch. Some parts he does are just so satisfying to watch even when he isn't center (the starting part of the last chorus when they all do those sharp moves, him including his fingers' dance just adds something very pretty in the way he executes it, he is so detail) and his moves are so wide too (during the second chorus at the start he was able to go back next to Haechan so fast even if he was farer away than Ten). The way I can even notice his power even when he is completely in the back and nearly completely hidden... he is an amazing dancer. Anyway... let's move on (I can really talk about it all day). Winwin, you mentioned how unfortunate it was he really don't have a center part. I agree, I want a choreo who can emphasise how a great dancer he is. But for this one... like you said, with Jeno and Ten complimenting each other so well and also Matk existence, I understand why those three have nearly 70% of the center time. It's just unfortunate for Winwin. ‐----------- Work it. I love how you pointed out Hendery. He is really doing his best everyday to improve his skills as a dancer and rapper and I think his turning point was definitely Turn back Time/Bad Alive. What he shown there was amazing but her, in Work It he has a lot more of center part even if Ten is still in the unit (when we know WayV choreography tends to give most of the center position or emphasise more Ten and Lucas). He shines so much in Work It, I feel so proud of him. All his efforts paid off! Globally, I also really love how in NCT all the members have their own distinct style. It is always very interesting to me to watch those dance practice multiple times while focusing on different member. I also love how they all looks great as a unit (U/127/Dream/WayV) even if some members have some really different styles.

I think one of the reason why MAW exploded like that is also because of the hype of OT23. It is such a good song to introduce Resonance era too, for me, because of all 4 songs that they've promoted, MAW seems to have NCT identity sounds the most.

MAW has a killer catchy chorus and lots of unique part. The "I can do this all day" immediately in your head despite you like the song or not and the mv also really well done. The whistle is memorable and the dance is also unique from the beginning so people keep watching it. MAW is great in its own right. But I think as an entire package I loved 90's love just a little bit more. As Jeff said, it's an amazing combination of members. Their chemistry skyrocketed. Man...I really feel like 90's love would be that song that people in future will look back and say that it was one of the best. It feels like Simon Says in this aspect. I do think that MAW had a better MV to showcase though.

Yuta's dance style when he went calmer/elegant actually more harder to do. When we dance with exaggerate/aggressive moves, you can hide a lot of messiness. But yuta, he doesnt waste a single moves and does every moves correctly. And even in aggressive dance style, yuta's moves is still neat and clean, you can see it in resonance cherry bomb and black on black

I love work it’s choreo so much because of its playfulness! Hendery is definitely a standout and I think it’s amazing how yuta is still able to dance so smoothly and not miss a beat despite having an injury and never given time to heal. If he’s dancing this well now, I would love to see how he changes it up when he actually at full health!
