I personally love Hanni but Haerin also catches my attention in this performance. Hanni is very cute though and even cuter when she hops, she's very energetic.

The group is so well-trained that every song just comes to life when they are dancing! Haerin is easily the sharpest and most precise dancer in the group since the beginning - so much so that you notice her right away in grp formations! She is very clean with her moves, which is really surprising considering how young they all are. Hanni also stands out because she has the most fun, sass, and personality in her movements & the best facial expressions in the grp - she grabs ur attention! Danielle and Minji are really good and have their standout moments too. I think the maknae is more well-rounded in all aspects, so she doesn't immediately stand out and her facial expressions can be imrpoved, but she is so young! with training, she'll definitely get better! NewJeans is such an EXCITING grp that I actually want them to get better at the craft and become more successful!

Haerin has the most swag groove & got that cool vibe in her more than other members. Ngl I personally think that she's an unofficially the main dancer of group. Oc everyone is a good dancer but she always got the most satisfying/killin dance part in their songs ❤ The way she dance is so effortless, she makes the move looks so easy but stil clean, sharp & powerful

Haerin (red sweater) this girl is crazy ! Her dancing is so captivating. Personally I find her the best dancer in the group and this doesn’t mean that the rest are bad NOO this group is full of really great dancer. Even tho I’m not a dancer but I can definitely tell a great dancer and this group all are above average when it comes to dancing 🤩 I JUST LOVE THEM ❤

for me personally i think haerin (girl in the red) is main dancer material (feel free to disagree) because she has shown her talents in all of their performances. she always catches my eye, she’s very sharp and fluid. especially when she does hiphop based performances 🤯 she indeed does have a lot of natural swag. it’s crazy to think that a lot of people rank her as one of the worst dancers in the group 🧐 not saying that any of them are bad because they’re all phenomenal but she definitely stands out to me

for me personally hanni (the one with short¿ black hair in this video and purple hair in the performance u mentioned) is the main dancer. when i focus on her, the way she moves makes me want to join her and dance as well, she seems so comfortable with every choreography and her movements are so flowy but swaggy at the same time with the right amount of energy. i think she also has a good technique, she never misses anything and has GREAT charisma. i admire her a lot 😭 she's becoming my ult bias in ggs

At 18:04 when Jeff paused the video, I think it's completely obvious who has underground and/or hip-hop background just by looking at their postures. Haerin has that natural and common posture of dancers who does hip hop, here specifically popping.

Haerin when I see her dance moves, made me think of Mark Lee. Their natural hiphop grooves and satifying to watch but they are gotten recognition not that much about dance skills by the fandom but exactly they still shine a lot when it comes about hiphop.

what i love about newjeans' choreographies is that they're not really like other kpop choreographies. they don't have the same pre-choruses and choruses, everything changes constantly and it's very fluid. it's just so different, you watch it and you can see their concept of friends who made their own choreographies during lunch break. another thing that i absolutely love is that they are no affraid to stand with their back to the camera, they often have parts were they dance in a circle and they face each other with their facial expressions being natural and glowy. it's just soo refreshing watching them and seeing them having so much fun. i hope they don't get overworked too much in the future and they don't lose their uniqueness.

imo haerin is probably the main dancer. But, personally hanni is my fav dancer because she has so much groove and swag. She genuinely looks like a teenager thats dancing and having fun with friends. She has her own unique dancing style that makes her look so appealing and groovy. The way she dances with a smile and has eye contact with the other members made her stand out to me.

haerin and hanni r both main dancer material haerin is very fluid and knows her body placements while hanni is very smooth and knows when to exert energy in her movements which is usually why they both catch my eye throughout every performance/practice

If you go back to the Ditto MV (side A)… that very same part you struggled with in the course… you can see Minji messed that part up too in the video. Side note I love that they kept that scene in.

I think they stand out because they dance to their own rhythm if that make sense. Its like they were allowed to dance to their own beat/style. I remember someone said they focus more on rhythm like the earlier gen groups.

Yes to your idea to watch without stopping the first time, then dissect. For me, this is more important for MVs versus dance practice. Too many people pause the MV their first go around which is distracting. So, yes please keep it up!! I enjoy your reactions!

Yes I think that Hanni (girl in blue pants and she had purple hair in MMA) to me definitely has a strong hip hop feel in the way that she bounces and how she really flexes her shoulders up and down in a lot of the movements. I like that her stance is always a little bit lower and she hunches her back lower too (this is not saying she is the best, they all have different styles!). When it comes to precision and efficiency, Haerin comes first to my mind. Danielle is very flexible and has a good balance therefore what you said that she trained in ballet really makes sense. Minji and Hyein are well-rounders so they also do amazing on every stages.❤
