Kr, it frustrates me a lot if my team isn't synchronize. Synchronization is important if you want to show a good performance,. Even if the choreography is simple, just with synchronization you'll be able to show a good and satisfying perfomance and might able to win a competition😅. I just laugh sarcastically when others say that because svt had a lot of members that's why they're synchronize and find it funny too 'coz most of those who stan svt dances or performs. They know how hard it is to pull out a whole package of performace and svt does it very well.💎

Yeah! I think we are talking about the same part. The 1 to 12 part where Vernon has his solo here and the boys are moving in the background with the ripple effect reminds me of Woozi's solo part in the 1st verse of DWC. The boys are also moving in a close ripple effect then as well! I think it may be an intentional callbakc?? Since that album was titles "Al1" or "Alone" but this song is "Not Alone" !!

I am a Filipino so I am definitely familiar with the way seventeen executes their lifts. I first experienced that kind of lift when I was on my 3rd year High School. We did that in our Physical Education Class and our dance was a combination of waltz and ballet. 😅😅😅 It takes me back those times. It was super hard to execute those lifts with one person.

I don't understand why some viewers don't value synchronization that much when I, as a dancer and a dances' audience, always see synchronization as one of the greatest factors for producing quality and clean performances. Individual styles are pretty important yes, but don't forget that when it comes to GROUP performances, viewers would always prefer something that is clean to see rather than messy. If it is more on individuality in a group dance, then viewers would mostly probably tend to focus on a single performer (mostly the center) than seeing the details and the creativity of a choreo as a whole. This is why I admire SEVENTEEN choreos a lot. While they are synchronized, creativity is still prominent (and individual styles are still being shown though subtle as times), thus making the quality higher. Anyway, my heart flutters whenever Jeff calls out his fellow Filipinos haha ♡ Love you, Jeff!!

I don't pertain to the whole fandom but an nctzen told me that nct members have better dancers than svt. She said that NCT choreos are better than svt coz it's harder and unique. I just said that SVT is regarded as one of the top dancing groups in Kpop yet that person kept attacking svt dancing skills and choreography. Come on. I told her to watch any of SVT choreos before saying such (I just found out that she have not watched any of SVT dance).

@@nanamikamisama866 that's just some random toxic fan but generally nctzens is a pretty good fandom. But yeah, as for my perspective since I've been into dancing for some years, I really do prefer SVT choreos because of creativity and versatility. Them being synchronized is a bonus. But that nctzen is right. NCT has one of the most unique choreo and is regarded as one of the top dancing groups out there.

I'm so glad you reacted to this and commented about the absolute *need* to for synchronization to pull off a choreography like this. I agree that while the moves are rather "simple," the fact that it's quite slow and detailed actually makes it so much easier to spot some mistakes if anyone ever makes one! Similar to this, in a sense that it has simple yet detailed and slow moves, is their choreo for "Without You." I heard a lot of people didn't really like it since they thought it was "too simple" for SVT but I don't think they understand how hard it actually was to pull it off so effortlessly :// It's also a song that's supposed to be between don't wanna cry and clap so you'll see some nods to those choreographies in the beginning and the end. It was pretty much genius in my opinion! Hope you check that out soon! ( I'll link it here just in case bc the title of the vid is in korean lol you mght have a hard time finding it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYnTdKBjfqt1nac )

It seems like this was made to resonate more with a Japanese audience. From what (very little) Jpop I have seen there’s not much going on choreo wise. It’s more of a “vibe” than a performance. This song too...TOTALLY sounds like an ost you’d hear over a Japanese drama.

I did the leg lift thing with my dance group, it is very hard especially to get the timing correct because the person who is holding the first leg job is over quickly but the second person has to keep holding from the beginning till their turn passes and the person who is being lifted needs to have great balance because they need to hold up their weight because they are not on the ground they are being held up and if they put to much weight on their legs the people holding will have trouble.
