Как не хватает те года ,когда ходили друг другу в гости с аппаратами и записывали. Бабиники такие тяжелые были это было кошмар,но приятно потому что качество звука было лучше на много чем сейчас с убогими цифрами.

Тоже помню, правда не с такими. С Кометой-212 ходил в 80-х, а такой возил на прошлой неделе в сервис, так еле поднял. Его и брать-то не за что:)

Непонятно, какой практический смысл имело переписывать запись на 19-й скорости (пусть и очень хорошую) на 38-ю ? Если показать, что, мол, разницы нет между 1-й и 2-й копией - так некорректно, на одной скорости надо было запись делать.

На разных скоростях звучание отличается у меня есть такой аппарат...на 38 более прозрачное-воздуха больше,на 19 басы мощнее,да если не знаете аппарат пишет 2 дорожки на всю ширину ленты,как и наш Олимп 702

While recording , what should be the position of the moving needles in the VU signal meters on both the channels....Like should they be touching just the red lines or it is okay to cross the red lines....Please share some good tips to make the recording better. AKAI is quality i still use my GXC-46 Stereo Cassette Recorder from the seventies, my AJ-520 FL Stereo Portable Radio GXC Cassette player from the eighties. And the Double Stereo Automatic Reverse GX-W45 cassettedeck from the nineties. They are all excellent & indestructible so i know what kind of quality your AKAI Tapedecks are !!!

i also have Akai GX630D universal model ( 120v to 240V) the rew and ffd is slow but the play speed is correct , what can be reason can you help me the right motor is heating , i am writing to you from India

lalit trikha It is probably the heating of the motor. You have to look inside and see if the motor rotates freely and oil it a bit.

@@ltshering Since the deck plays good, the one motor is correct, the other motor needs servicing,. But it is a good idea to oil a bit both motors and see if they overheat.

I know a lot about audio, do mixing etc, and think digital done correctly is just fine. That said, why do I effening love watching this? Think it's great, and even want to buy one? LOL. I have used tape of course, but I see these machines and still like them. It's so weird. Even watching the tape backup seems cool. I must have brainwashed myself somehow.
