So excited to see someone talk about this perfume! I just blind bought a bottle and after the top notes pass I love it. It's almost aquatic--but still smoky. Weirdddddd, but good.

This is just blooming gorgeous can't stop smelling my hand where I've sprayed it I've just had to buy myself a 90ml bottle can't wait to get it in the next few days all I'd say is it is a lovely perfume I'd recommend it

I have the Shalimar Souffle Intense version and it's absolutely amazing the difference is the Benzoin in the intense makes it more smooth and jade notes omg delicious!

I started wearing this last year, not familiar the original shalimar. i beginning to like this coz on me it gives me a bit of smoky scent, which i love in perfume.

I went to Sephora today and smelled clean citron fig, I cannot make myself like their perfumes, I wanted to support the brand because it is cruelty free but I will try all fragrances until hopefully I will find one I like

For sure, I did emphasize it was not for everyone, and cannot be purchased without trial. Personally it does not actually suit me very much so I will not be buying it again, but I see that it is good quality and is actually unique.

Guerlain is not cruelity free! Guerlain peys and allows their products to be tested on animals when required by law. Also sells products in China!!!

No it's not like a lemon cookie... it's not gourmand in any way... it's mainly lemon and vanilla.. it's sweet but not in a cloying gourmand way.. it's beautiful

Is the bottle with the peacock fit for the summer? I see on Fragrantica it says spring and summer but it has the same notes as this.

recently bought shalimar edt and i absolutely hated it. I was so sad. It's making me very concerned i won't like this one. sigh. I unfortunately live in a small city that doesn't have a large selection of fragrances to smell first before buying

It's more difficult that way. If you are in the US there are fragrance subscription services that you can purchase a small refill from to try it out. I would probably steer you in that direction. They carry a very wide variety of scents, and it is an easy way to try perfume if you struggle with access!

I bought is from FrangranceX and didn’t find it as long lasting as you suggest. I layer it with Beautiful by Estée Lauder to give that perfume a unique personality.
