I was so excited to get this when it first came out last year... I literally stalked the Guerlain counter for a month! ... that beautiful peacock bottle is stunning as is the fragrance. By the way it is "souffle ", (no accent on the last e), meaning "breath" in French not "soufflé " as in the dessert!

I enjoy the Shalimar flanker so much. The original Shalimar was just not a fragrance that was appealing to me. I definitely am going to do a summer favorites! Coming real soon. Thanks for the request and for watching 😘

I did it Jodi! I had to get this beautiful bottle, before it is no longer found. I only picked up the 1.6oz as this is not something I will be wearing all of the time. I have a decant and love it. It's special to me.....just different and special.

You can’t find much choice with perfume in department stores anymore.... I purchased my Shalimar Souffle at fragrance net! Online shopping is the way to go these days with past releases. This scent is lovely and long lasting.

Hi Jodi , Souffle de parfum is it similar to Shalimar parfum Initial ?

I owned the 2 of them. L’initial is more powdery and floral (Iris, rose, Jasmine and Vanilla take over other notes on my skin) whereas Shalimar Souffle de Parfum is more a zesty vanilla steamy oriental fragrance.

Hi Jodi! Thank you for the perfume videos, I'm really enjoying them. Quick question - have you tried Shalimar Parfum Initial? It's discontinued, but I was able to get a 5ml mini and I love it! I'm thinking about getting a bigger bottle, but will end up paying a premium since it's hard to get now. I was wondering how Shalimar Souffle compares and if I should go with this instead. The notes of Initial (citrus opening, iris middle, and vanilla with musk in the base) seem similar to Souffle. The peacock bottle is so lovely and I wouldn't mind getting my hands on that alone. =)

Thank you! I have sniffed / sampled initial a while back. I would say that I do love sweet scents and soufflé is just that. It’s creamier and sweeter to me. Initial is more powdery and it’s an alluring fragrance with a zip of citrus. I know it is so hard to describe in words. Let’s go with feelings for a moment . Initial makes me feel a little sexy and flirty, maybe a tad dirty but not in a scandalous way. In a playful modest way. Soufflé is fluffy and sweet with some polished citrus , so it makes me feel cozy and happy within. Soufflé is classy but not snobby! I hope this helps. 💕

Jodi Peacock I love sweet ONLY if there are other elements with it. I like florals and citrus as well. Musky I haven’t found a musky perfume I liked yet

Flowerbomb, Black opium, la vie est belle, elie Saab le parfum, D&G light blue escape to Panera, Light blue intense, Armani Si intense, olympea edp are some of the perfumes I have and enjoy

Those are all wonderful. The Shalimar is a little quirky. Not your typical run of the mill. It is citrus in the opening , and then dries down to a soft sweet powdery fragrance . It’s very fresh .
