OMG!!! You are so right about Sintra. 💯 As a matter of fact, the pettigrain note in my bottle has gotten STRONGER the last couple of years. 😩I have to brace myself when I spray it, and no one should have to build up courage just to wear a fragrance

So with Niche fragrances...It was explained to me one time by a Creed saleswoman...it's like baking cookies, same recipe but the batches can vary!!! It can vary by quality/procurement of ingredients, manufacturing facility issues etc etc etc!!

This happened to me with Kayali Vanilla 28 and Atelier des Ors Pink Me Up 😭 the samples were amazing but as soon as I got the full size bottle I was INSTANTLY disappointed. I think from now on I'll get 9-10ml decants or travel sizes of fragrances just so I know how it ages over time

Hi Chi Chi! It is Valaya for me. It was an immediate yes after smelling in store and sample, but with the full bottle, I’m like meh, I didn’t have to get it. I’m not sure if it is the musk, which may be extra musky on me.

Creed Love in White was this for me. Sampled her twice on a trip to Vegas and it stayed on my mind for months. But when I finally got her, the magic was gone. It gives me plastic baby doll. I have a few other fragrances that I fell out of love with after getting the full bottle but she’s #1 on the list 😢

Blind bought Si Intense and Mon Guerlain intense 3 years ago. Waited for weeks to receive them. Hated them both. Couldn’t believe it. Decided to leave them alone…I try them about once a year. Today was the day to try them in 2024. I haven’t repented…still hate them both…😅

I love LV Atrape -Reve! It’s my favorite 🤩! You can’t spray to much because it’s strong at first. The dry down is incredible. It last all day long. This is in a league all its own. I do have more LV scents coming but this is one is pretty hard to beat. I know you didn’t review any Tom Ford but $300 for a small bottle was crazy. I still can’t stand jasmine rogue. It’s smells like black licorice to me every time.

This happened to me with Apollonia. Sí got a sample, loved it upon first spray, bought it, then hated it! Since then I’ve tried wearing it 3 times and I just can’t stand it. After that experience I’ve learned to make sure I finish the sample or decant before deciding on a full bottle.

I have 2 Delina bottles and they smell very different. So I am just letting them both macerate. It's soooo bizarre. It happens. I have a La Belle EDP and it smelled off for 4 years. Not until this year it started to smell okay. I am not liking it at all waiting for 4 years. Maceration is truly real. I have another fragrance that I got 1-2 years ago. And it was off. I was confused. It matured this year. It just happens now with all the fragrance houses.

Going forward I will not purchase fragrances without sampling, learning what one likes, possibly could be a strong dislike for me. Also some get things on PR and will not be completely honest about the perfume scent.

Delina Exclusif did that to me. I purchased a 15ml decant and it was singing, so I got a full bottle. It’s good but, it didn’t hit the same. I’m hoping it will mature over time to smell just as rich as the decant. I still use the decant.

This happened to me with Arabians tonka. When I tried the sample I freaked out about how much I loved it. Then after buying the full size the batch just felt different and there was something that just smelled different to me and I gave it to a friend. 😩
