I still love Viva La Juicy! It’s been one of my favorites for years and years and it’s the only perfume I’ve repurchased more times than I can count. It doesn’t smell as “young” to me as some people describe. It’s just beautiful and an OG overall. Glad to hear you mention it! VLJ and flankers are the only perfumes my husband rates 10/10. 🎀

This won’t help with the first fragrance but if you happen to love the juice but hate the bottle, decant to an empty bottle for display. Amazon has some lovely choices and you won’t be forced to look at an ugly bottle on your vanity. I may be the only person looking at my vanity, but it looks e beautiful and classy ❤️

Agree 100% w Rihanna’s reb'l fleur. I don’t get why some many people likes it. I’ve tried to like it so many times but it’s a big no for me. The scent is really unpleasant to my nose and hideous bottle.

I don't love the opening and find the patchouli overwhelming, but the drydown is heavenly to me. The creamy coconut, vanilla, and smooth amber combo is divine. I wish the fragrance smelled like the drydown for more of the wear time!

Me too. I like the notes in other perfumes but all I smell with reb’l fleur is patchouli. I do not understand all the hype because it is one I truly dislike.

I like hearing people's opinions on why they like or dislike a fragrance. It is fascinating because I to find myself agreeing or disagreeing while watching. Fragrance is subjective and body chemistry and seasons play a role. Sometimes a scent in cooler months smell medicinal and then are fine when the weather changes...vice versa...TFS

Everybody should do the same 👍😊 I think viva la juicy is nice for spring and summer, but the lastingpower is not good 😏 I also have Marc jacobs daisy and it's so pretty, but lastingpower with this one isn't great eather.

Prada Candy Kiss is delightful. The atomizer actually protects the fragrance better then an ordinary one. Cap free means less to handle/drop, too.

I think you shouldn't blame Daisy for not smelling like Chance eau Tendre, they have never pretended to be a dupe for Chance, Daisy is beautiful in its own way. In my collection I have both Daisy EDT and Chance eau Tendre EDP and they both serve their purpose independently, one for warmer seasons, another - for cold

Viva la Juicy stays in my collection. I just can’t let it go 😆. I got my bottle of Flowerbomb Midnight during the VIB sale and it was already discounted….so it was around $40. It smelled beautiful in store, but it’s sharper than I expected. However, I still like the scent. I don’t get any of the notes that you mentioned, but that goes to show how everyone’s nose and body chemistry differ.

Adore the Juicy Couture bottles! Mon Paris is so delicious, definitely on my wish list. Recently tried out Narciso Rodriguez Rouge from one of your video recommendations and I’m so in love. That’s my next purchase. As spring rolls around I am definitely in the mood for softer, quieter, fresher scents I don’t have to think too hard about.

I don’t like Reb’l Fleur either. I’m glad I’m not the only one. I blind bought it because so many perfume reviewers raved about it, but I didn’t like the fragrance at all and I don’t like the bottle. I’ve used the white plastic cloud from the Cloud EDP to organize business cards; I think the bottle looks much better without the cloud. You could probably use the heart shaped “dinosaur egg” from Thank You Next to organize something like photos in your daughter’s room. 😂

You are so right. You’ve got to wear a fragrance for a few hours to really know if you like it. I’ve been fooled before even after smelling it at the store (looking at you Roses de Chloe 😬). I too had a disappointing experience with blind buys.... all three scents were a no go for me. I’m swearing off blind buys for now. I have Gucci Guilty pour femme but it must be the edp. I really want to try the edt based on your glowing review. The Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia edp was so amazing.... I kept smelling my arm all day and ran back to the store to buy a bottle! THAT is how we should feel about our perfumes. Life is short..... no ‘tolerating’ a fragrance.

Gucci Guilty Pour Femme is one of my favorites. I used to love Viva La Juicy & thats why I bought Gucci Flora because it smells so similar(but a little more floral). It sucks Flowerbomb Midnight didn't work for you, it is my favorite FB perfume. Love your haul 😍

I bought La Vie Est Belle when it first launched in 2012 and it was love at first sniff. I received countless compliments about it for years and loved wearing it so much. I was sad when I finished the bottle in 2016, but I didn't repurchase it because I had other perfumes to use. A few months ago, I decided I wanted it back in my life, so I went to the store to buy it, but when I sprayed it on the test strip I was unimpressed. What happened?!? I don't know if they reformulated it or if my nose has evolved, but it seemed very ordinary and not magical like I remember. I am genuinely baffled!! Anyway, I didn't end up buying it, and the point is sometimes you can't reignite an old flame. At least I have the memories of my old love, La Vie Est Belle.

They did reformulated it. The new version has no praline and less patchouli. It's still lovely but not the same. You would have to hunt down bottles made before 2020, but not sure of when it exactly changed.

I just sold my Daisy because try as I might, I couldn't get myself to love this fragrance. I was so disappointed!! It gave me big "bug spray" vibes. There's something sharp in the base that just turned me off :( it's still a VERY popular fragrance tho, people were going crazy as soon as I had it posted and it sold within minutes.

Mon Paris EDT is my signature. I´m in the 3rd. bottle. It projects well and lasts 6 hours, what for an EDT is very good. It´s fresh and very classy. I love this scent!

I love Cloud, but I've been nose blind to it since day 1. I was gifted Thank U Next. I don't get the pickle. I get sour/tart which I really like because it balances the sweetness. When I think of pickles I think of garlic and dill....and I definitely don't get that. I tried layering these two. I can only smell Thank U.....

Viva la juicy brings me back to high school. My girlfriends and I would drown ourselves in it. I still love it because it brings back good memories and still smells amazing. Also speaking of Gucci guilty, try the Absolute Pour Femme in the dark purpleish bottle. The employee at Ulta was wearing it and It was one of those musky berry vibes but it was super unique. I immediately bought it and it has become one of my favorites for a unique sexy fragrance.

The gucci guilty pour femme intense seems too much in the opening, but when you let it sit it settles like a more distinct version of the edp but less powdery and more longevity. Give it a try! I returned my edt and got the intense. The edt and edp has a powdery dry down of a diaper. Didn't make me feel sexy...

Newer subscriber here; already addicted to your channel. 😂 I’m huge into bargain hunting and blind-buying heavily discounted fragrances. I recently saw Ariana Grande Thank U Next and Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy at my local discount stores, and passed them up. Now I’m reconsidering (if they are still around). Just a note on the Prada fragrances. I’m a huge fan. Prada Candy was one I splurged on at Nordstrom years ago (came in a set with lotion and body wash), and I went through the entire bottle. Yes, it’s not the longest lasting, and that’s probably why it did get used up faster than others, but still one of my favorite scents. I have a few of the flankers in rollerball sizes, as well as Night in a 50 ml bottle, I think? Le Femme was another Prada scent I blind bought, and I really didn’t love it at first sniff. It’s very pronounced. But man oh man, once it warms up on my skin and dries down, it’s gorgeous!

UPDATE: Ran out and grabbed Thank U Next! My local Burlington still had three in stock in the 30 ml size. The cashier said she hoped I liked it; a younger gal who’d bought it said she didn’t like it. I always test perfumes as soon as I get to my car. Right at the opening I smelled the pickle/dill that you mentioned! It must be the pear note, but yeah, reads dill. On the skin, that note dissipated very quickly. However, on the clothing it did last a bit longer! It’s very warm and sweet, but not in an acrid way. Another pear-based scent that’s more sharp is Victoria’s Secret Tease, and it smells like cat urine on me during the opening. Thank U Next - It’s very nice! I think for me, though, I’ll apply it directly to skin only and not to clothing, as that’s where it smells best. I also grabbed Oscar de la Renta Extraordinary Petale while out. &19.99 for a 90 ml bottle! Completely different scent than Thank U Next. Very floral! Didn’t end up getting Viva la Juicy, as the only had a small 15 ml bottle that was the same price as the Oscar de la Renta. Plus I still have a sample tube to use up.

I really liked ThankUNext but I think it's just a bad perfume formula that goes off & turns really easily. I had a mini bottle, it smelled so pretty (didn't detect ANY pickle at all, had no clue how ppl were getting pickles) well I reached for it again a couple months later to make sure I was ready to buy the full bottle. 😆 omg girl it was straight pickles and sweet floral in the background. I thought maybe it was just my nose so I had 2 other noses get on it. They said pickles immediately without me even saying anything. BTW I kept the mini in a cool dark place. I just think the makeup of the perfume is extremely poor & should be pulled off the market which is unfortunate bc it was a very pretty scent b4 it started going bad and pickley But it's not right to let ppl buy ruined or soon to be, perfume straight from the store. I'm willing to bet yours is ruined and the pickle will get much stronger smelling in the next couple months even if stored properly.

The trouble I have with all of these perfumes is that they are so forgotten after a few hours. I remember some of the more classic scents like Jean Patou Sublime or Dior Dolce vita or Dior Dune had almost a haunting yearning effect and leave an actual olfactory memory. The only relatively modern perfume that had that effect on me was Lancôme Hypnose and Lancôme Idole. I wonder what it is about these.

Would you consider a video on fave jasmine pretty signature and/or sexy fragrances? I’m on the hunt for something good for daily that lasts and/or good for evening. Jasmine-centric not overpowered by other notes. I like other white florals, but really don’t like tuberose so that kills it for me when included. I like other florals like peony but don’t love rose. However, I don’t want all floral without any depth and do enjoy vanilla, amber, sandalwood. Heavier musky bases turn really smelly on me, not good smelly. If any come to mind, would you mention, or even consider a video?? Thank you!!

I saw your IG post and I thought you would completely trash Thank U, Next and I was surprised you like it! I have it in my stash and I was going to declutter it but I might give it another chance. I do get the sour pickle note but I also enjoy the sweetness it has. The power of influence! LOL

I tried to sniff gold couture at ulta and they didnt have a tester! I asked an associate and she said its being discontinued and that's why they weren't sent a tester! Not sure if its actually true, if anyone knows please respond!

I have the viktor and rolf flowerbomb dew, it has really poor longevity but i love the scent the v&r flowerbomb and nectar is too headache inducing to me even though i like the scents
