Hi Jackie! Happy New Year! 🎉 Love your videos. I’m not a content creator but I have a nice sized collection. I also track my fragrances. For 2024 I purchased 25 full bottles (emptied 2 and decluttered 2), 43 travel (emptied 29 and decluttered 6) and 26 decants (emptied 10 and decluttered 1). I try before I buy so my blind buys are mostly travel and decants. 😊

This year i was on a low buy and seriously trying to reduce blind buying. I only bought 7 full bottles - 3 were replacing used bottles, 2 blind buys and 2 previously tested. 3 of them are NOT loves but I won’t declutter them yet. I should never blind buy but sometime those sales are just so tempting! I got 16 travel or large decants. And 88 samples I’m still going through. All in all I still spent more money than I needed to, but I’ve had a fun year. I’ve also started decluttering and have dozens more I’m planning to list in 2025. I can’t wait to have a more curated collection of loves.

@ it must be very difficult when you go through so many new ones each year. I think for me some of it is just the luck. whichever ones I discover first are my favorites. The more I sample the more I realize there’s so many similar perfumes that I don’t need a lot of the ones I actually really love.

Oooh, 2024 was fun for me, fragrance-wise! I know there are more, but some special pickups for me were Cafe Chantant & Whispers in the Library. There are fragrances I like, fragrances I love, and then there are fragrances that I feel connection to the moment I smell them, as if they are "Me" in a bottle. Lovelovelove Oh, and I can't forget Duchessa!! Sexy Cherry done right!

No need to rush for me. It shows me how much you love these. I bought way too many perfumes this year and most if not all were blind buys. I live way out of the way and nowhere to go try out. This year I am hoping to be better about getting samples, decants and travel sprays and need to really slow down on buying and really focus on using what I have.

That's a lot of fragrances! I do this kind of thing, I've been tracking my purchasing for year. I also record my spending as I've noticed it edge up year on year. I guess stuff's got more expensive and sadly also had my taste. Had two weeks off over Christmas, really enjoyed a break from YT. Happy new year 🎊

My son does not like the way Valaya smells. I love it, and wear it when he’s not around me. I found a dupe, Mystique Bouquet by Afnan, and my son thinks that smells great. I LOVE it (almost more than Valaya), so it may be a good one for others to try. Love this video! Happy New Year!

what a nice over view. i started to track everything but fell off towards the end. you make me want to get back to my tracker i just got into perfume last year so i got really into it starting with middle easterns and probably bought like 50ish middle eastern scents. with a few zara or other brands sprinkled in after. I suspect i wont buy as much this year because when i started i hated all the perfumes i had (narcisso rodriguez poudree and burberry her and some others). I learned with middle eastern perfumes i enjoy gourmonds, vanilla, woody scents over overly girly and flowery scents. (ex. december vanilla, nebras, ajayeb dubai portrait etc) i just placed a massive sample order. honestly i'm cringing at how much i spent on samples. i kind like getting bottles but i'm sampling niche / more expensive scents. i live in canada and today i had to pay $20 for customs on top of my expensive order so they better blow my socks off. either way i feel like i'll slow down on purchasing this year unless i get super excited over something because now that i found so many loves i want to enjoy what i have
