Oh noooooooo, wanted by night and lucky got 9’s and Profumo got a 8 😱. Fun fact when I first smelled this scent for around a year I just got loud pachouli and I thought this was a 6/10 at best but after a couple compliments and picking up a shirt i sprayed it on days prior I’ll never doubt this fragrance again it’s truly legendary juice.

I'm new to fragrances, only got into them shortly before the pandemic. So yesterday was the first time I actually tried multiple fragrances at a dept. store! I came home with a new fragrance AND bunch of smaples. So, THIS is the first ATH video where I actually have the sample myself! "Do we have our sample?" - YES! And...I didn't like it! And while it's better than the Bleu de Chanel sample a friend gave me awhile ago, I don't like the soapy/linen side of it. But something in it not really agreeing with me, starting to bug my allergies. A definite 'no.' So I'm learning things! I have to be wary of popular designer "blue" fragrances because this makes two in a row that bother me. Thanks for all of the great videos, info, and positive vibes!

One of my favs. I love the aquatic, almost salty note to it. Really good endurance with it and indeed is stable, same smell for hours. Works well with a spritz of Molecule 01 on top of it too, as does the standard AdG.

That's a plus because performance is a big issue for most aquatics. This and D&G Light Blue Intense are really the only two aquatics that last over 8 hours on my husband. Well Bulgari Aqua Amara did too but they discontinued that one.

Interesting review. I went through a few small samples of this when I was just getting into this fragrance hobby/passion & finally got myself a great deal on a pre-owned bottle in 2019. Now I own it I'm just not wowed by it any more, it's quite a safe & familiar DNA from the original 90s EDT, brilliantly done for sure, it smells absolutely fine, just a bit deja-senti (already smelled!) for me I suppose.

Superb review as always Aaron😉I have the Acqua Di Gio Essenza in my collection which is beautiful, unfortunately it was discontinued a couple years back🙄 I always think the Profumo you just reviewed is the kind of ‘night time’ version of the Essenza one I have. The new Profundo now sort of is the replacement for Essenza as a day time ADG, whilst Profumo remains the night version. Although I certainly don't care for Profundo nearly as much as I did Essenza. They made a huge mistake discontinuing it. Well at least we still have Profumo and from 2015 until now, it remains my favorite cologne my husband owns.

No. I think somethings are overkill. I expect things to change massively in the next 50 years. Isoeugenol is the next thing to go app. The reason I go on about the boxes is as a perfumer I have to make sure all my work is compliment and legal. It’s a massively expensive.but I do it to be legal. But I am aware there are companies who I won’t review that don’t comply and save money on the legal side.

@@Christian3174 honestly I don't remember. I'm pretty sure I was high at the time. But I do remember doing a little research on the guy and I remember reading that he was bullied in younger years, dealt with depression, body dysmorphia, drug issues, dyslexia, and self harming. I'm pretty sure I was just trying to be reassuring. Funny thing is, when I read that comment after revisiting the video just now, I didn't even realize it was me that wrote it until I glanced at the username lol.

I was in the supermarket and a senior gentleman was trundling around smelling of brut, there's nothing wrong with the stuff but when I was young its all you ever smelled, I find it plainly just boring. OK for summer months but definitely not in cold weather, then again I suppose its what you personally like, just the same with old spice.

got aqua di gio the clear one like 2 days ago now. its flipping amazing. literally wont come off. can shower and it still be on you after you've dried off. so for price to performance its a 10/10, for me the smell is sweet, musky and floral to my sense of smell. white floral. bright, fresh and sweet. i paid 78 pound for 100ml so not a bad price all things considered. i did consider this one first but ended up going for the the latter. although this has got me intrigued. great video Aaron
