I appreciate what you said about the value of your chemistry degree. My degree is in Mathematics. I've never had a "math job" but I am still so very proud of my choice of field of study. It did not teach me how to think but it developed the thinking skills I already possessed. You cannot teach talent but you can develop a talent that is already there. If an accomplished person notices talent in someone who is interested in developing their interest, one of the most generous things that one can do for that person, for yourself, and for the world, is to believe in that person. It sounds like that kind man saw promise in you when you yourself were a raw material.

I just wanted to thank you for your work! I'm a self taught novice perfumer, and watching your videos is a constant source of inspiration for me. I love how you talk about individual notes and how they are used! I have some dihydromyrcenol that I haven't used yet because I wasn't sure how I should use it. Now after hearing you describe how it was used in this perfume, I'm going to experiment with it! ❤️💛💜

Thanks for the review Aaron, will try it! Like that you said it would be suitable for every day use or gym. I love it when someone discusses the following categories: ◇ What the fragrance is designed for use wise like office / gym / beach / etc ◇ Best season to wear it - Fall, winter, etc. ◇ Projection capability ◇ Linearity of fragrance ◇ How long it lasts. I find that you often discuss these aspects and I must tell you that we appreciate your expert advise as you are an expert in your field and review objectively as well as tell us what your preference is and how you would have potentially modified the fragrance to give it a different edge. Thanks again!

Insightful as always! One thing I've always wondered is whether tattoos (not recently done of course) affect how a perfume smells/projects/performs overall. I would assume that "safe" & tested fragrances should not penetrate the skin enough to have any effect.

Never apply fragrance over a fresh tattoo. Its like a cut. Wait for the healing process to be complete
@renegadebrad74482 жыл бұрын
That's a good question actually I've got quite a few tattoos and i don't think it does but i don't know i presume it's just down to everyone's uniquely individual skin and how fragrances perform like body chemistry dry or moist skin types pale or dark skin types how we sweat too.,we all are very unique,even identical twins ain't the same 😂 unsolved mysteries let's get mulder and scully on the case 😂

Yes! Reminds me, I also like a few woman's fragrances on my male skin. With these select few, the male version just doesn't appeal to my nose. I won't bore you with my incredibly short list, but the woman's fragrance that MOST works on my skin, as well as getting a mental amount of women's compliments as well as dudes(!), is Tommy Girl, in a tiny, extremely well fabricated metal container. In a PASTE! From around 2001'ish. Unfortunately they no longer make it. I have tried the modern EDT spray, and although it brings back some nostalgic and romantic memories, just doesn't smell the same. But i still have a bottle from 2016 and secretly use it now and then at home for Netflix nights. The other half really likes it, but the modern version is way to feminine for a male to wear in public IMHO (and with fragrances I don't care male or female, just good nose!). Thanks CEO of ATH fine fragrances, im gonna score a decant of Alien Man for woman. I wonder if Aaron will ever review paste fragrances, and his thoughts, or perhaps give his opinion of them? From a scientific perspective. Would make for some interesting knowledge regarding fragrances. Thanks for taking the time to do these videos. You really help us fragrance fanatics understand them, and no doubt expand our palettes/noses! This is so awesome. Thank you so much!!!!

Wow. First time seeing a video from you and I gotta say that was one of the best review videos I've ever seen. Not as in a cologne review, I mean as in any review on anything I've ever watched. My girlfriend says I'm obsessed with smelling fragrances.. I've smelled around 300 in 4 months. Obsessed? Very picky and always searching for the one. The magical fragrance. Only found 4 I really like so far out of all that :/ You're thoughts on it is very close to mine.
