I always try to make the art of perfumery easy to understand. I never try to show off or make people feel unwelcome. I believe though my experience I can show how complex but how beautiful the art of perfumery it. It really is centre of Art and science. Without my chemistry degree I would not be able to build perfume. I use maths and chemistry and physics everyday

You are a real artist man. Huge respect to you. So rare to find people who are so passionate about their point of interest and who have the confidence to be really individual and bold. Also, as a suggestion to build your channel big and powerful - I think, you would utilize better formatting, like the organization of the delivery to be followed easily. Doesn't relate to this video particularly but I noticed that it was many times lots of free-styling which can be off-putting for the audience. Cheers and looking forward to your material!

Superbly said. Ambre Sultan is a French take on amber world. Polished, well balanced, mild, posh. I must admit that once you enter that amber world, this fragrance is not enough for you. I wish you all to experience an older version of Ambra Aurea from Profumum Roma. There is no way back, nothing else can please you more.

ATH is by far, by far, the best fragrance reviewer on You Tube. Extremely Knowledgeable, interesting, he doesn’t pull punches or kiss asses... damn. As a hetero, 240lb, ex football player, from Texas, USA (I apologize for trump- I voted for Bernie, then Hillary) I had ZERO expectation of liking his vids, but honestly, “on my mama”, LOL I trust his reviews over anyone else’s. No one else is close. He’s a professor and the rest are elementary/primary school teachers. Have to figure out what fragrance he’d suggest for dudes like me.

K Jackson I try to recommend fragrance based on notes: projection. Longevity and if I think it’s worth the money. I make fragrance for a living and buy 20litre of raw materials so I know. I try to recommend on price. Skin type and colour and where your likely to ware this and the type of person! So keep watching as you may fit to what I’m recommending. On a side note. I’ve always thought. ‘What qualifies other channels to talk about perfume’? Other then an opinion?

@@AaronTerenceHughes that is an EXCELLENT question you ask. It is why I hardly give much credence to most other channels. Without a solid background in perfumery (and chemistry) and an objective approach to evaluation, their reviews are just another very subjective & unsupported opinion, no different from my own. Your reviews are QUITE the exception and I very much appreciate them and use them to make decisions about perfumes. Thank you!

This is one of my favourite fragrances and I ended up first purchasing it when I was 24. It has that elegance about it that I love and I knew no one else my age wearing it; everyone who smelt it loved it. I have never liked projection, personally, because I want people to come up close before they can smell my frangrance so this was perfect for me. I'm 29 now and haven't bought it in a few years but will definitely repurchase!

@Kos08183 жыл бұрын
Excellent review! One thing that did confuse me is that you said it "it's sort of morphing and changing...which is when you know it's got aroma chemicals in it". By "aroma chemicals"; do you mean synthetics? From my understanding and experience; synthetics don't change much and are a lot more stable than naturals and it's naturals that morph and change. Also, you mentioned amber, but you made it seem like amber isn't an accord created using cistus labdanum, cistus, benzoin, vanilla and aromachemicals.
@jarridsteel62294 жыл бұрын
I got a sample of Amber Sultan and it's pretty nice. I decided it wasn't really for me, though. I really love Bapteme de Feu, though and got a bottle recently for a really great price. There are quite a few very nice fragrances from Serge Lutens.

Mr Aron you must sample ambre loup by Rania j... Its simply the best
@saynomore96044 жыл бұрын
Sold Ambre Loup because it was one-sided fragrance. Do you know propolis? Ambre Loup is exactly that from the start. Im confident to say that it`s not an amber fragrance, there is some kind of loup in it. To me an amber fragrance must be sweet, warm, sticky, full of resins and oriental vanilla.

You nailed this one. I have always considered Ambre Sultan befitting of its name as it comes across very regal; something to be worn in formal settings. Also, you mentioned sandalwood. Do you think this contains real sandalwood or an accord built from synthetics? For the price, I would be surprised if it contained real sandalwood.
@AaronTerenceHughes4 жыл бұрын
I think its a combination of both. Which is the best type of perfumery. Aroma chemicals can support naturals and lift them up to be beautiful. Natural and earth united with science.
