Have you ever considered doing a podcast about perfumery?? I’d listen to every episode! I would love to hear your input on Geuerlain’s Spiritulouse Double Vanille and Feve Gourmand!

Please don't apologize for going on about your process and sharing knowledge. I find it endlessly fascinating and love being educated from a master! :)

what materials are you using? im guessing you tried already C 14? nectaryl? nectarate?

Agreed on the c14. Just go easy on the c4 though👍

I’ve got an interesting fragrance for u to review!! It’s some of Thierry Wasser’s earlier work and it’s a cheapie. I believe it smells so close 2 Chanel Allure Homme but it has more spice! It smells fantastic and I could see this fragrance make a come back bc it never was very popular. Anyways it’s Mary Kay Domain

I thought this perfume was way over hyped when I tested it. Not impressive at all.

As someone who watches your videos, not so much for the "review" but for your knowledge of perfumery and to learn more, I say, please, babble on and on... 👍

Yeah, some of these prices he shares makes me appreciate the cost of these fragrances at times. Then you have rent cost, employees etc. The oud prices are crazy too! Luckily we have department stores and Sephora.

I wasn’t impressed with this one at all, despite everyone raving about it as the “king of vanilla”. It was just overly sweet and didn’t have that natural vanilla smell to it. Guerlain Spiriteuse Double Vanille blows this one out of the water. It has much more going on with it and has more resinous and woodsy nuances to it.
@caseyplunkett60837 күн бұрын
I completely agree.

Vanilla scents to die for thats not gourmands are the best.. affinescence - Vanille Benjoin and vintage Bvlgari - Black (the very early release of it) does it really well.. not so much Ysl - Babycat but more their Black Opium over Red.. Royal Crown’s Sultan is good but it leaves me wanting more.. hope your Vanilla creation is going to end my crazy hunt for Vanilla like how your Tabac settled me on tobacco.. (love your Tabac… smells like a freshly opened pack of reds.. mmmmmm)

I was disappointed with this one. I LOVE Vanilla, and everyone said this is a 'grail' vanilla... if have to disagree, and I agree with Aarons assessment.

'Tihota' is also a more poetic word for silence in slovenian language. Seems like it sums up this fragrance quite accurately.

Aaron just found your channel and its incredible how quickly i now resonate with your content. A breath of fresh air which is much appreciated. Have you ever reviewed Orto Parisi Cuoium. I have been meaning to buy it but want to hear your thoughts. All the best to you and your higher self

I personally found Tihota to be underwhelming and undeserving of the hype. It was too synthetic and sweet. Enjoyed the video.

How do you not know what Palo Santo is and keep saying engage in your higher self? You would love it, its a wood they use for cleansing rituals in the Amazon, it is an ancient material. It translates to Holy wood.

I was very unimpressed by Tihota, I felt is was quite… sour, I guess. I don’t feel I’m missing out by not having a bottle. I’m just going to search quickly whether you’ve reviewed Celine Black Tie… if you haven’t, could you please? I love your teaching method and passion.

Aaron, don't apologize for going off on tangents. I've learned far more from you than I have from all other sources combined! I greatly appreciate this channel and way you talk about fragrance. Your passion for this is so evident. Keep up the great work.

How come I’ve never heard you criticize Tom Ford fragrances for their pricing and crappy plastic cap bottles and flatness ? Not that I’m defending this fragrance, I’m just curious as it seems nobody has the guts to tell the truth about TF but always hear it about other brands who skimp on bottles, caps and atomizers

I hope you've read this, Sir Aaron. Would you be so kind to review Absolute Aphrodisiac by Initio Parfums? It could probably intrigue your Vanilla senses but i doubt it will facinate your inspiration just like Side Effect... No harm testing aye

Imagine waiting years to smell the famous Tihota, created in 2006 by world renown Francis K, only to realize upon testing that it smells JUST like Bath & Body Works' Vanilla Bean Noel, which debuted in the late 1990s.

I am working on a Christmas Scent the last few weeks. I also have quite amount of vanilla in my formula, got all the spices balanced but the sillage is something i am not happy with.. Do you think ambers would help, ambrocenide, amber xtreme.. or should i lift it with some more linalool and methyl pamplemousse? I‘m so close

@jeffscalfano31007 күн бұрын
@AaronTerenceHughes Touche... that was a bit rude & unhelpful after rereading that. I apologize. I, like many, can afford designer( i know... eww), will rarely pop for a basic niche, and have trouble taking any bottle over $300 seriously. So, while i dont have any specific suggestions, i would prefer a more rounded ratio of cheap to expensive A.F. For Example: 50% basic bitch, 35% deep pockets & 10% red bottom heels. And yes, i realize 5% is missing... 5%, whatever turns you on.
