@@lunaas1029 I feel like I'm the only one who remembers this, but she brought back her talk show before the WGA strike had ended/resolved and it left a bad taste in everyone's mouths (to the point that the head writers decided against returning to the show when the strike was over). Like tbf, my mind went to her only because I was thinking of talk shows since Kelly has one herself and that they could've gotten confused or something, but something tells me the reviewer wasn't thinking about the moral mess that is crossing a picket line LMAO

Sadly recently discontinued. It's excessively rare now. But funnily enough it was on sale on their website for half the price. I hesitated and missed it. Won't make that mistake twice if it comes back! Not that impressed by the smell tho. I expected something more Banana forward, it quickly devolves into something else. Not bad by any mean tho. Also it leans too feminine for my taste, I would probably use it for layering (and I'm no expert at that so it sounds wasted on me)

I’m so jealous! I have only been able to afford to sample dirty rice and it’s one of my favorite scents so I’m holding onto my samples for life. Ironically I own a full size of sugar addict and I hate the way it smells but that is my most complimented perfume. I hope one day to get dirty rice. 💔

You are soooo right that nobody is talking about Smokin’ Gun, but they def need to be!! It stole my heart, one of my favorite perfumes of all time. That Campari note is delectable, and it’s one of the only Iso-E Super fragrances that I actually like because it’s done with such a light hand. Sometimes I like to layer it with Noté Vanillee by M. Micallef, truly gorgeous combo 😍

Recently purchased the sample kits, originally fell in love with two from each, then it became three from each: Sugar Addict, Sin & Pleasure, Drunk Lovers and Fig P*rn. On paper many were a no but on skin Drunk Saffron and Angels Powder were a surprising yes for me. They last quite a long time on my skin, which is known for eating up fragrance. I’ve learned they have minimum 30% fragrance oil. So you do get something for that high price point. Big fan of this house! Thanks for reviewing! 😊

i don't know if you've smelled it but a banana perfume i really enjoy and equally find super weird is y06-s from blackbird. it's notes include banana and electrical fire, and it's a bizarre little tropical greenhouse aroma that is definitely worth smelling if banana is going to be trendy

Sin&Pleasure is my new go to. It does start out like a rubber tire, but commit to the dry down and projection. I’m from New Orleans and this scent definitely gives off late night down in the quarter, jazz music, bourbon, late 19th early 20th century New Orleans vibe when Storyville was still around. I put it on an hour or so before I leave the house because of the opening note of the rubber tire but then it completely changes and the projection last. I’ve layered it with Tom Ford Velvet Orchid.

Emmmmmmaa I love your videos and was waiting for this brand review! Your scent preferences usually matches mine more than 90% of the time so I’m surprised you aren’t a fan of my faves! Drunk Saffron blew me away and actually brought me back into fragrances. I also love Dirty Rice and Happy Nuts as my faves from the house. Nanatopia was a huge miss and the rest are mostly nice but not worth it for me. Sometimes I wonder if my difficulty with smelling molecular notes (Anosmic to Amber Vanilla, Another 13, BR540 etc) is the big difference when we don’t align? Fragrance is so interesting and personal in that way. Either way I learn so much about fragrance from your videos and I look forward to learning more. Cheers

So I blind bought the Drunk Saffron, it’s not a love it smells like old Coca Cola with leather.. It’s too sweet, I think the dusty scent is from the synthetic saffron. I can’t wear it on its own but I layered it with the harmonist royal earth edp and it’s lovely.

Drunk Saffron smells like mold to me.. I am sure it is the Patchouli. But I liked the Maple Sirup one 😍 it smells authentic to me..

The smell of "synthetic" banana or how Runtz candies taste "fake", that is from the now defunct banana the Gros Michel aka Big Mike. They were the original dessert banana and after fungus came and destroyed them all(bananas are mono crops) we started using the Cavendish banana instead.

My faves from BTSO are Dirty heaven, fig porn, not vanilla, happy nuts and my fave of all drunk saffron! The sugar addict one was good too but smelled like other scents I have or else I would have purchased. Mad honey was nice as well. But Nanotopia was retched. I could not find the caramel banana at all. It was all booze to me. The sin & pleasure was a nice patchouli scent but there was something that held me back.

I’ve been promoting Dirty Rice for like a year now I got so many of my tumblrina followers to buy it they owe me a cut. I have another rice/sandalwood perfume I like more (Mona Di Orio’s Dojima) but that one has been discontinued so when I finish my bottle I’ll get a full bottle of dirty rice and hopefully by then it will be on discount websites lol. I’ve had the same problem with my BTSO 18:53 bottle! I have dirty rice and the cap just falls off 😭. So disappointed in the quality considering my other pricy fragrances don’t have that issue.

I have Angel's Powder, Dirty Heaven and Indecent Cherry and I wanted to support the LQBTQ+ Community since all the proceeds will go to charities and bought Dirty Rainbow. I do not regret the purchase...but oh my god, what a horrible horrible scent that is. It is a hot mess, like they mixed all their rejects together. The packaging inside was all smushed and thank goodness I opened it while I was in my bed because since I had the other bottles, took it from the cap and it just dropped directly on the bed. Thank goodness because the idea of my bedroom smelling like that, yeeesh.

Re: Dirty Rainbow having bad reviews: unfortunately something that I’ve noticed about Fragrantica is that almost every fragrance that references queer culture and/or is a Pride Release gets brigaded with negative reviews and sometimes hate speech (an example that immediately comes to mind is their page for JPG’s Le Male Pride release from 2023)

I totally can see that. Part of me thinks, though, that’s kinda their thing. They just add “dirty” to everything since their whole schtick is being “provocative”. (Dirty Rice, Dirty Heaven, etc) but it wasn’t a very smart move considering the historical association between queer love and being “dirty,” as well as how the name is sexualizing and fetishizing towards the community. I think that BTSO’s brand concept could have taken a backseat for this launch.
