I love that you paint without fear. I think that's something I need to learn how to do better.
@Gwantsa3684 жыл бұрын
True, especially with watercolor. It’s so quick and elusive, like water, that the key is letting go of caution and fear 🙏🏽
@lawrence92173 жыл бұрын
Truth let go of that fear can be hard but his painting shows it. Loose and fluid, confidence!

I am finally trying watercolor, I do other kinds of artworks, totally different medium (encaustics) and this fascinates me. I am quickly learning that it is a very fine touch, and should be fluid because you are literally creating objects with the paint rather than drawing them with the pencil guide. Very much a beginner, but because you are so positive and make me give up my fears, I am loving the idea of being able to do this! So far, I am just terrible ... but I don't care! That is how you learn, right? Thank you ...

Thanks a lot Nitin for this video! I painted the same picture along with you and it's been a nice exercise! Where I have a problem is that I couldn't make the dry brush strokes where you made them (the shadows, the lantern). It's difficult for me to pick a new color, dilute it with water, but make my brush dry enough to have the same nice effect as you. I still need to learn how to do that! :)

EXcellent free-flowing-semi- abstract composition. I would have made the lower part of the focal - point building LIGHTER on the bottom, where the street horizon would reflect upward and darker on top, as you have it. LIght reflects upward off the horizontal street....yes ? PErhaps the roof tops could be light
