I don’t think he has a weakness to cake (I ate a cake during the battle but nothing happened.) I think it may be a reference to how he was poisoned by cake, just like how it happens to Mario in chapter 3 Edit: oops, your partner gets poisoned, not Mario

i love ur logic, he has a weakness to CAKE so YOU ate the cake? lol. And cake cant be used offensibly so its not gonna help the battle. I heard Vampires dont like Garlic, so I ate garlic to help me figh them. lol

Actually the poisoned cake in chapter 3 happens to your partner as they pretty much eat the entire cake before you even get a bite, causing them to get too numb to help you in your next battle. If you go to battle without eating the poisoned cake, the Shady Koopa in the locker room will eat it instead and get numb from it. That’s when your partner realises that cake was poisoned and feels relieved knowing you guys didn’t eat it.

While many players won't unlock this fight until after Chapter 5 or even later, you can actually fight him before you even begin Chapter 4. First you need to complete Jolene's Trouble, then do about 20 battles in order to receive her email, then do another 20 battles after that to get Mush's email which unlocks the fight. Reclaiming the champ title in the Glitz Pit is NOT mandatory to unlock the Mush fight, but since you need a bunch of battles anyways it's a good way to be efficient and kill two birds with one stone. (plus, I feel it's extra epic if you're the current champ when facing Mush)

Idk I beat the shadow queen the pit of 100 trials twice (Although I used a mover to skip the first 47 battles), and fought bonetail and whacka before finally deciding to fight the cheating little bastard That's simply bc I did all the missions during the post game I decided to fight my way to glitz pit champ after defeating cheater mush

The Fight is Basically SuperG or die, once you do he can no longer dodge attacks and his defense is dropped to 0 that turn. Also his 2nd Phase as you can tell makes him invincible and every time he charges his attack goes up and it STACKS BUT, every attack CAN be SuperG including his multi hitting Ultimate where even if you get hit by the initial you can still counter the next hit if you survive.

That’s why I prefer Mario for the strat, it’s easier to not lose Peril(life shroom) and you can get 2 turns with Goombella

The best part is that the devs specifically made him immune to Vivian's shade fist burns, just so that you can't stall him out

I tried this only once, I didnt land a Suoerguard in the entire game, 100 pits included, its stupid to ask the player to execute it in order to win this

@@user-lh5dc5cy1b Unless you want to get hit in one turn by accident P rush is the best to go due to the fact it stacks 2+ by 1BP and you can use more badges to your arsenal such as you can add things such as defend plus, ice power, spike shield, quick change ect. Reason why piercing blow isn't a good build is because for one flying enemies and for the other stacking makes it cost lots of SP which makes it have no room for extra badges it is basically a one trick pony build.

RuneYosh's build or just the 20-30 Power-rush Strat with defense/dodge spikeshield/icepower build is the best as you're practically untouchable anhilating all around you.

My strategy was to just use charge until mario had 20 atk and one shot him with a power bounce

It’s best to superguard Prince Mush’s attacks. Doing so makes him unable to dodge your attacks and have 0 defense until his next turn. His ultimate stance brings his defense to infinity, meaning you HAVE to superguard to negate his infinite defense.

okay so I had no idea one of his stances you could attack him without dodging, so I only attacked him after super guarding (note I’m not good at super guarding) THAT WOULDVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW

For fun i try the charge strat mario x10 turns with 15 power jumps equipped...is better then peril partner strat,this battle is hard in “normal” mode but with a little strategy is easy to cheese
