Watched most of this live and my hype for a new expansion hasn't been this low since I returned to the game in Nathria. Before today I had hope, but after nonstop Zilliaxstone, nah man..

I played this game constantly for 9 years, I was hyped for every expansion it came out except for United in Stormwind and maybe the Witchwood, but now I genuinely think the game is dead, the last 3 months of Standard have been horrible, and this Expansion is only going to make things worse, unless the game gets a complete redesign to mitigate mana cheat, or a new Game Mode (even as a branch of Twist) that lets you play only old expansions gets released, I don't see myself playing this game except for the Tavern Brawls

I originally saw the control Priest v sandwich warrior fight from the Priest angle and it was hilarious then seeing it from yours after knowing what each next move was going to be and how you + chat would react. The other guy genuinely did not see your message and kept forgetting about elusive but was so happy after you conceded it was really enjoyable on both sides.

I love how rarran glazes frozen throne every time as the golden times of hearthstone, while these and the following expansion literally made me quit as an invested OG player. Because in fact it started to implement so much power creep(ultimate infestation, new class(es), basically being forced to use hero cards) and also of course the split of making all cards of prior expansions irrelevant with standard introduction. Frozen throne was fun minus the listed things, but it was short lived design, basically dooming the upcoming expansions to boom in power creep Now that the game been erased from my existence for x years, hearthstone this year became so attractive as a wacky, but still high quality card game (software product wise, if we can see past the visual clutter and increased percentage of bug prevalence) . And actually also contributing to me picking up hs again was rarran saying the game back in the days was "made for beginners while now it's made for veterans" in a sense of alot more of card combination layers. Also they could easily introduce an og format, let's fall it "legacy" in which they develop sets with like old gods power level. And twist although questionable time restricted is super well designed (would invest if it's not temporary mode) Best expansion was naxx obviously and matter of fact all the expansions up to old gods. Jade theme in Kobolds was the first ever letdown for hearthstone meta imo

@@ddin3139because it’s breaking him and he has the personality and potential to be an amazing variety channel. I watch Rarran for Rarran and seeing him not enjoy HS is very sad. The videos I actually look forward to is when he DOESNT and does collab with other creators or other games
