Was told I’m in perimenopause because I’ll be 41 in a couple of months and within the last five months my period went from 27 days to 24 days (getting an estradiol test next month) and I’ve noticed vaginal dryness lately. I hate hearing I’m in perimenopause because I always thought I would have a child by now and it feels like it may never happen because I’m experiencing symptoms that foreshadow menopause sooner rather than later. It’s part of life, but a very stressful time

Thank you. It's completely understandable to feel scared about mood swings and other changes. Preparing yourself by being aware of what could happen is a great start. Next, what lifestyle habits can you maximise or even change to be on the better side of the plains around menopause. It's finding your own space where your sleep is good, some activity and a healthy diet. Safe space and relationships around are key and especially with your experience to support. Please don't feel alone in the journey😃
