Doctor do you have medicine for uterine fibroids ?
@AskAwayHealth14 сағат бұрын
There isn’t a one-size-fits-all “medicine” for fibroids-treatment depends on factors like size, location, and symptoms. Your doctor can discuss options ranging from medications to surgical procedures based on your situation. Please consult your healthcare provider for personalised advice and check out the two detailed fibroids playlists on this channel for more information.

What about iodine, does low iodine cause fibroids to increase due to hormone imbalance
@AskAwayHealth14 сағат бұрын
Iodine plays a role in thyroid function and hormone balance, but its direct link to fibroid growth isn’t clearly established. It’s important to have your thyroid function checked and to discuss your diet and overall health with your doctor to determine if any adjustments are needed if you have low Iodine.

I've tried it on 3 different occasions and had very little results. Strange, each of the 3 boxes... the contents weren't gel like but more liquid which made it extremely hard to hold in. The fact that it burned the external area, made the leakage more difficult to bare. Part of the issue I suspect for some is your forced to self diagnose. Faced with a 6 week wait time for an appointment at my local NPs clinic or paying far too much for this product... You're still left with opting to treat it yourself without benefit of real proof it BV or some other type of infection (I'm an older, non sexually active lady so not likely to be an STD). Then your other choice is to dish out for another overpriced treatment for a yeast infection. Failing resolution... You suffer another 5 to 6 weeks. Honestly, I found the product just too thin to stay put and this is after taken loads of probiotics. Flawed by design, we women are. Especially into menopause

Hi, I’m really sorry to hear about your frustrating experience. It sounds like you’ve been caught in a difficult situation with long wait times and treatments that haven’t worked as expected, which must be incredibly disheartening. I understand the challenges of having to self-diagnose and trying different products without clear guidance. It might be beneficial to continue advocating for a thorough evaluation by a trusted healthcare provider, so you can get a clearer diagnosis and more effective treatment options. Please do keep pushing for professional guidance-you deserve care that truly meets your needs. I hope you find relief soon.

hey! so i had sexual intercourse on day 5 of my period, i still took postinor-2 just to be safe. on day 6-8 the blood are light, just a little brown discharge. but on day 9, i feel like i got more brown discharge than on my day 6-8. is this normal? could this be because the postinor i took? is this normal? currently on day 10, i still see the medium brown discharge. i’m scared. this is my first time taking it.
@AskAwayHealth14 сағат бұрын
Postinor-2 (the morning-after pill) can cause changes in your bleeding pattern, including brownish discharge, which is often old blood. While these changes are usually temporary, if you’re feeling worried or if the bleeding continues, it’s best to contact your doctor for a full evaluation.

Fibroids can affect fertility depending on their size and location, but many women with fibroids do conceive successfully. It’s important to work with your fertility specialist or doctor to monitor your condition and determine the best plan for conception based on your overall reproductive health.

@AskAwayHealth14 сағат бұрын
It can be a little complex to predict the outcomes. If one parent has sickle cell disease (SS) and the other is a carrier (AS), the chances for different genotypes in your child can vary. For accurate information and personalised guidance, please speak with a genetic counselor or your doctor.

I didn’t know stress was a factor. I would get cysts when I worked at a stressful job. It would be horrendous.
@AskAwayHealth15 сағат бұрын
Stress can impact hormone levels and may contribute to the development or flaring of cysts. Managing stress is important for overall health, but if you continue to experience recurrent cysts, it’s a good idea to discuss this with your doctor for a complete evaluation and management plan.

Madam from two months i am getting less flow and black in clour is it ok?
@AskAwayHealth2 күн бұрын
A lighter flow and black-colored period blood can sometimes be normal as I explained in the video, but it can also indicate hormonal changes or other health concerns. It’s best to check with your doctor for an evaluation.

Painful ovulation (mittelschmerz) can be common but severe pain could indicate conditions like endometriosis or ovarian cysts. If it’s disrupting daily life, do see a doctor for assessment.

Hello, mam. i took plan b, and now my period has a 17-day delay What to do
@AskAwayHealth2 күн бұрын
Plan B can cause period delays due to hormone disruption, but a 17-day delay needs a closer look. Consider taking a pregnancy test and consulting a healthcare provider.

Pls reply my question if it's normal having a long period after depo shot and I stop my depo on January 10.... My kids is 9 and 5 i always use depo so that i will get pregnant
@AskAwayHealth2 күн бұрын
Irregular bleeding after stopping the Depo shot is common, but prolonged bleeding should be discussed with a doctor to rule out other causes.

Hi Doc i started using depo shot for the first time on 12 jan and today(2 feb) i realized my discharge has a weird smell I've never had that problem before how can i stop the smell? Thank you
@AskAwayHealth2 күн бұрын
New vaginal odor after starting Depo could be due to hormonal changes or an infection (especially if there are other symptoms like pelvic pain, or irregular bleeding, etc). If it's not settling or getting worse, seek medical advice for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Good morning doctor from the United Kingdom. Thank you so much for your time to educate and help us with this information. Myself 57 years old, perimenopause, overweight, and i was told 3 years ago i had 2 fibroids and womb lining of 3cm. Up to last year period far and between with huge blood clots, because of this i booked privately to see consultant gynaecologists with transvaginal scan appointment. Fingers crossed x
@AskAwayHealth2 күн бұрын
Hi from the UK! You are very welcome. A thickened womb lining and fibroids can cause heavy bleeding and clots, especially during perimenopause. Seeing a specialist is a great step for further management options. I hope you get answers and things settle down very soon.
