A mother never forgets her angel babies. I have two. My sister cried out for her angel babies when she herself was dying and already unconsious. "The babies, the babies" she moaned.

I had one daughter that died of SIDS at 3 1/2 months old. I had another daughter that was born at 22 weeks. I received a picture of my daughter born at 22 weeks & a generic sympathy card the same one all parents get. She would be 31 my other daughter would be 37. Back then they weren't really focus on comforting the parents or anything like that.. No differ treatment really, the same as the other mothers.. Times have changed and I'm so happy for the parents that do receive the kindness generosity warmth memories molds of their babies hands & feet etc professional photos donated preemie clothes memory boxes the cott that keeps the baby cold so they can keep the baby in the room with the mother for up to three days I think it is??Also, now they have these pads you lay under your baby so while they're sleeping if they stop breathing the pad will pick up on that and set off an alarm!! I'm so happy for those babies t that they're able to continue on with their life because of these pads!! They sell now. 37 years ago if they had that around I would still have my daughter. But I don't live in the past I'm just saying I think it's so great that we've come so far and there are so many really caring people. God bless all of these parents and those little babies!!! My daughter my only surviving daughter she recently got her Master's and got married I've never been happier or more proud in my life!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. I hope the parents who lost their babies are doing OK you want to just give them a big hug

I am so very sorry for the loss of your 2 precious daughters. I can’t even imagine how hard that would be. Your comment was beautiful, as difficult as I believe your losses have been, you have such empathy and compassion for others. Rather than hanging onto your sadness it seems as though you have gained angel wings yourself and are protecting the hearts of all loss mommies. God bless you and may you have the most beautiful life possible💙🙏

As an ex -Neonatal Nursing Sister of over 30 years, its indeed a priviledge to care for the Palliative Care Baby and his/her parents. It's the very worst scenario that we can probably imagine, the death of a Baby and, with that, the death of the parents dreams of parenting this baby and watching it grow. This Care is beautiful and gives us the chance to make a possibility of a " good death" and a lifetime of comforting , life- long memories where people do, indeed, get to be Parents, even if just for a short time. And, mainly, to facilitate the baby to have a life, no matter how short, filled with love ,

A beautiful and amazing documentary...the doctors and nurses involved offered so much guidance..consideration....understanding and love to the families going through such a sad time.....I'm happy that all the parents had time to be with their new baby...regardless of how long you could feel the love

I know it's not the same as losing a child, but when my sister-in-law died, they let us do hospice care in the ICU -- breaking rules about visiting hours, number of visitors, etc. They were supportive but not intrusive. After M died, a nurse asked if we needed anything and I asked if they could take out the tubes in her neck that were taped to her face. The nurse said she'd make sure that was taken care of. Evidently it was shift change time, because a new nurse came in a couple of minutes later, erased the previous nurse's name from the board on the wall and put her name as M's nurse, and then took the tubes out. She even put a small bandage over the opening where the ports had been. I burst into tears and said, "Thank you for treating her like she's still important." The nurse said, "She's still my patient until you're ready for her to be moved off the floor." That meant the world to all of us. They let us have M's last few precious days with her and didn't just hustle us off and ship her body to the morgue as if she'd become nobody in that moment when she drew her last breath. I still cry thinking about it -- how much it meant, just that small gesture of putting her name on the board as M's nurse. The littlest things mean the most sometimes.

Im against abortion but in these cases or if the mother or childs life during delivery are in jeopardy i would seriously consider it. Theres nothing good about losing a child especially a baby
