When I am conscious of my daughter's mood swings during menses I give her hugs and assure her of my support .I also take this opportunity to sit her down and talk to her explaining to her that she needs to be in control .She needs to be above her moods ..This kinda helps

Mumbus you are right boys need to know aswell. I have a 14 year old boy that I made a point of letting him know about periods. This was a blessing to another girl in his class when they were 11, as he offered his jumper. I am very proud him. So boys need to know.kudos Mumbus and mama. Your family is a whole vibe.

Gives me an idea of talking to our 9 year old son. Funny story... One of my helps left a bl**dy patch in the common room and left for her day off. My 9 year old son decides to visit the common room, runs to the dad and asks what happened in the washroom. Dumbfounded the dad says someone killed a big mosquitoe😂. Poor boy stood there confused asking what size of mosquito produces that much🙉. He tells me the story and I burst out laughing asking why! I don't blame him, I didn't know how to handle it either. I made this kinda relationship with my small siz so when she started her periods I taught her everything in depth. Something that my mum considered shameful and actually never talked about it to me so I just got ambushed when I started my ps 😂. I don't know tho but the moment I started having them I wasn't even free to tell her . I wish she'd have done better . But I corrected that with my siblings 💪
