Hi, I am looking for a channel that teaches about each individual element. If you are looking for subjects to make video about, it would ideal if you could do that, give a history of the emlement, who discovered it, where it is mostly used, where it s mined from, rarity etc . Thanks

@@harmangaminggn7139 indeed. because most teachers in college and university go over the material quickly, and if you want to really understand you have to take your time, from zero, and learn step by step, and understand why. Because you can memorize any formula by heart, but it's more important to understand why it is that way and where it comes from.

Hello sir, easy to understand your lecture but I haven't clear about group 11 and 12 ,called as well as group 1B and 2B. Why the numbering of B group is started from Cu family, not from Sc? Please clear me sir.
@harmangaminggn71392 жыл бұрын
The B groups had to go 3B-8B, and then 1B to 2B. This is because the metals in the first transition metal group, Sc-Y-La, each had three valence electrons i.e. d's2 hence group 3B. When you got to Cu-Ag-Au, the d sub-shell was full i.e. d¹ºs¹. So they became group 1B, and the next column Zn Cd-Hg i.e. d¹ºs2 became group 2B.
