It's an insult to Periphery so say any of their material sounds like Tool. Tool is radio dad rock garbage. Periphery is obscenely more talented than Tool at every single aspect.

The Contortionist sounds a bit more like modern Tool with more Djent and earlier more Deathcore instrumental and vocal rhymes however later sound a bit more like Tool if you give them a listen even the vocalist sounds almost and acts like the vocalist of Tool even looks a bit like a younger version.
