Love this band! They are known for throwing in different things in their songs. Spencer is an incredible singer and this song does not show his full range. They are also great live.

Spencer looks totally like Bono as a metal version in this one. Periphery are a VERY weird band. Weird dynamics, weird composition, total chaos. But they don't take themselves seriously at all. I really love them for this though, but yes, either you love them straight away (like me, when I heard them the first time), you need your sweet time to get into them or you just don't like them. Also, MORE SAX in music!

This song definetely needs more listens, the album version has another differet "thing" towards the end. The thing is that this piece is like a "Meta" Periphery thing, where they used some (not all) parts of other of their songs. As a recurrent listener of this band it blew me away the first time because of that and also because other intricate things within the composition.

By all means use a saxophone but keep it metal. That section was pure 'lounge' to me. rivers of Nihil did it well, Freedom of Fear did it well too. Never heard of this band but I'd say they're not my cup of tea. Cheers guys.

I'm not a periphery follower so I don't know what they've been doing, how much they changed and all that.. the clean vocals NO, the jazz part.. NO.. I love the sax but it was a short participation and it had nothing to with the song. What I like is the heavy parts and the crazy guitar effects in the first minute. It felt like a bunch of ideas put together because.....pffff everything was a nice idea and they didn't want to leave anything out..
