Wow man that was fantastic. I've been studying this video to learn how to play this song rather than look at the tab that's available because of how accurately you played it. Looking forward to more of your videos!

Amazing cover and playing man. I also love this guitar; Question: Did you have to put very thick strings for A flat tuning even if this is a 25.5 inch scale?
@evilvirtuoso7 жыл бұрын
Is it 25.5? My LTD 7-string is bloody 24.75 or something, and like him, I have the 7th saddle set all the way back for the drop-tuned G#... still not even properly intonated, piss me off. My next 7-string will definitely be 26.5 like Misha plays.

cool cover. what string gauge?
@ArEgN9910 жыл бұрын
thanks! I use a 10-52 set plus a 64 for the 7th string

Hey dude, can you share this patch tone from the HD300? 'cause i'm realy loveit this tone and I need to play with my band. thanks a lot :)
@ArEgN9910 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry, I always change my patches and never save them, but you can get that tone by using the Engl model with the tube screamer (with low gain) in front of it and bit of noise gate... I also use the EQ in Cubase...That's how I get my main tone, but I always tweak the settings. I also noticed that my current rhythm tone has the 412-Trd cab model and the 121 Rbn mic, I don't think I changed the cab and mic model since this video. I hope this helps :)
@Ruteman1610 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot dude, did you realy help me, thank you :)

Tutorial please! I really want to know how to play this song..and no I don't know how to read tabs I'm a visual learner. Great cover.
@Demiurge6610 жыл бұрын
Of course I can see his fretboard, do you know the definition of tutorial meaning parts of the song that is divided and played 30% slower so you understand what you're hearing and the patterns that which are played..thanks but no thanks for your 2 cents.
@ArEgN9910 жыл бұрын
If there would be more people who would like a slow playthrough, i could do that...but till then, you could try to play the video at half speed, since youtube offers this function...it doesen't sound that bad and would make it definitely easier to learn some parts
@NeoGenus110 жыл бұрын
ArEgN99 where? which button (I used to see this, but now I don't and top google results all say it doesn't exist.. i.e. need a program.)
@ArEgN9910 жыл бұрын
Michael Bowles It's the settings button in the right corner of the player, where you can also change the video resolution.
@TheElOcean10 жыл бұрын
ArEgN99 A slow playthrough or lesson would be cool. I can't seem to get those arpeggio-kinda-chords on the 0.55 -> riff. And the riff after that is hard to see from that angle. But this cover has already help soo much, thank you sir very much.
@Rhyooski10 жыл бұрын
Do you have the patch for this? Sounds awesome!
@ArEgN9910 жыл бұрын
No, I always change my patches and I haven't saved this one. But as far as I remeber, I used the engl fireball and the tubescreamer in front of it. I also used the EQ in Cubase.
@Rhyooski10 жыл бұрын
cheers dude i just got a pod hd300 so any tips welcome

What string gauge are you using
@ArEgN9910 жыл бұрын
10-52 + 64, but I usually use this gauge for drop A tuning
@Kwaceyoopony10 жыл бұрын
what tuning is this in?
@ArEgN9910 жыл бұрын
It's from low to high Ab Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb
@NEOL1NK10 жыл бұрын
Dude I've been trying to pull this off for a while and not doing too bad, but I can't figure out what's going on around 1:15 because it's so distorted lol, after you descend down like 5th: 5---4---3--3--- 6th: --6---5---4--5-- It sounds like it might be 4th: ----------2-1---------- 5th:--------3-------2------ 6th: --5---------------3-- 7th: 3--3-------------- But your fingers don't seem to be doing that, so I dunno
@ArEgN9910 жыл бұрын
I play it this way: 5th-7--6--5--3-----------7--6-----10--7---------- 6th---8--7--6--5--5--5-------7-----------8-----6- 7th----------------3--0-----------9-----------10---8 but I'm not sure if it's completely right...as you said, it's hard to figure it out because of the distortion and the palm muting.
@NEOL1NK10 жыл бұрын
ArEgN99 Also your video showed me how to play the :55 part correctly, I was doing this weird tapping thing before haha this feels better
