Agreed, and if I'm not mistaken, a modernized form of BMEWS is still at work, also space-based systems.

What happened to the BMEWS sites? Are they decommissioned? I doubt there's an entire building dedicated to computer processing anymore lol

@@liozac0261 Thule and Fylingdales are still active, IIRC, but they're now supplemented with PAVE PAWS ground stations and satellite assets.

@@liozac0261 there is one in yorkshire (uk) that had 3 golf ball style domes but is now a single building i belive it is still bmews or atleast a modern version of bmews
