IIT, NIT, PSG,CIT,TCE,Alagappa Engineering college,GCT and other GOVT Engineering college are the best in Faculty, infrastructure and less fee.Most of CEO and Enterpuners are only from Govt Engg college.Because all this college will develop your skills and leadership qualities. But getting seat in this college requires high cutoffmarks.

The main difference is normal private college comes under control of anna university so they have to follow syllabus, exam dates, attendance, fees, exam correction rules of anna university. Autonomous college have it's own rights to frame syllabus, question paper setting, paper correction, fees, attendance.
