Nobody knows for sure if maha Periyavar said such things. After his samadhi, just like the samadhi of other great sages, people come up with stories. Nobody knows how true or otherwise it is. Some spin their own masala in it to get attention & importance. Rejecting silk is destroying the whole industry, many livelihoods. Down south people are crazy for silk - silk sarees to silk Smitha...

Koorai pudavai is a practice based on culture rather religion ( being followed only in South especially in TN). Originally it was made up of cotton which used to be cheap to avoid the markings at the time of muhurtham( அட்சதை, குங்குமம், மஞ்சள் பொன்ற markings could not be removed from silk garments easily so cotton used to be substituted). But nowadays silk also is being used as kooraipudavai( this habit was created by Brahmins only). Since it is a cultural system , rules from scriptures cannot be applied here rather tradition only can apply. Even thaali system itself is cultural rather religious. I have searched everywhere in internet only found traditionally koorai pudavai is only in arakku ( dark brown or maroon ) color or yellow or green . ( It used to be produced by people around Mayilaaduthurai which was known as Kooranaadu). Nowadays it is available in any color. This arakku color koorai Pudavai incident was not mentioned in Deivathin Kural book. It mentions about Periyavaa's advice regarding usage of Silk and about Ahimsa pattu. Koorai pudavai incident is mentioned in Mahaperiyavaa.blog( author Sai Srinivasan) about a maami bringing things related to her daughter's marriage ( including Thaali and Arakku color silk Kooraipudavai) for blessings which was not approved by Balu seeing the silk saree ( which was against Periyavaa's advice) and was asked to move the saree away by Periyavaa himself. Latter it was found scorpions were residing inside the saree. At that time Periyavaa was supposed to have said against Arakku color for Kooraipudavai( this incident was narrated by Balu to the author).May be it was only for that particular maami ( due to the scorpion incident)to change the color. So how much authentic this incident we don't know.. We have to wait for further clarifications if any..

@@acknowledgeme9890 I don’t think it is like that some are exaggerated that’s is why Brahmin girls fall prey to other religion guys as if they treat him with independence, even as a grahasthan we are not eligible to perform any rituals or Homam without wife and I think that’s why we ask them to give dharbai as a symbol of grant, it may be of past belief and not now but I’m concerned about the poor girls and their importance to Elfer educated and hence they understand our culture and don’t give up. Secondly inter caste marriage within brahmin community must be also not restricted. With the kind of facts coming through movies like kerala story etc.. we are at risk especially here because of so much hate spread

Of course it will convert full episode dialogues with the title song. After getting full MP3, using Audacity( or any audio editor) , song portion can be separated. ( Hope copyright is not violated). 1. Click on the "share" button under KZbin video 2. Click on " copy link". 3. Paste the link in any online KZbin to MP3 converter and convert to MP3. Save the MP3. 4. Open the MP3 in Audacity 5. Using edit tools delete unwanted portions and save only the song portion.
