அனுஷாவுக்கும் ஶ்ரிமதிக்கும் இடையில் நேற்று நடந்த ஆட்டம் draw வில் முடிந்ததாக கொள்ளுத்தாத்தா அறிவித்தார். அதனால் இருவருமே ஆட்ட நாயகிகள் என்று முடிவு செய்ய படுகிறது. Expected many fireworks. Little disappointed. But director need to be appreciated for taking a balanced view. Only irritation was that they are translating Sanskrit to English forgetting that this is a Tamil serial. Finally I feel instead of " appearance are deceptive" " appearances can be deceptive" is more appropriate as appearances may be or may not be deceptive.

The serial seems to give too much importance to vaideeha activities but in reality mahaperiava was there for other community members as well. Being a Brahmin i think too much of madi acharam promotion can be put away with this age. Those days rishi pathnis knew vedas. Today women barred from chanting by vaideehas which is wrong and doesn't belong to vedic culture. Vedas don't discriminate based on gender

Any spiritual practice is meaningful only when there is no spirit of doership. कर्तृत्वं is the root of ego. And the family portrayed in your series is so deeply entrenched in their egos due to ritualistic fanaticism and dogmas which is much harder to break than any conventional person of today's world. Their conditioning is much harder to break and is a greater impediment to realise the treasure of अद्वैतम् .

Money minded ஆக இருக்கா.ஆனா இது யாரோட தப்பு. அரைகுறையாக முறையாக செய்யவில்லை என்றால் எந்த ritual உம் பலன் அளிக்காது என்று தெரிந்து கொண்டே தான் எல்லோரும் இவ்வாறு நடப்பதை கண்டும் காணாமலும் விட்டு விடுகிறோம். இதிலெல்லாம் நம்பிக்கை இல்லை என்று ஒரேடியாக விட்டு விடவும் தைரியம் இல்லை. வாழ்க்கை அரைவேக்காடு தனமாக போய்கொண்டு இருக்கிறது. அரைகுறையாக செய்து வைத்து செய்துவைத்து வைதீகர்களுக்கும் மந்திரங்கள், சடங்கு முறைகளும் மறந்து போயிருக்கும். இதுதான் சரியானது சொல்ல authority யாரும் இல்லை. காலத்துக்கு ஏற்றார்போல மாற்றிகொண்டதால்தான் இவ்வளவாவது survive ஆக முடிகிறது. இதில் 2000 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னால் இருந்த பழக்கங்களை மீண்டும் கொண்டுவர முடியுமா. அப்படி நினைப்பது சரியா என்பது தான் problem.

A vaideeka is not a Guru. They are service providers who come to perform rituals. Guru is someone who removes ignorance. Padipu aadambara vaazhkai ku asthivarama iruku. Veda padipum apdi dhaane irku... Kamakshi husband ulpada... Both are deviating from shastras rt... So in what way are these people claiming to be better than others? ... Yes going to watch jailer again... It's a good movie, worth spending money and time...

She saw him begging for alms and immediate thought of bringing him here to show him as வினோத ஜந்து. Then they started talking about marriage and we assumed that they were considering Gopalan and prospective alliance. But that might not be. Observations: 1. Gopalan says he can read, speak and write in English, Tamil, kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, hindi and Marati. Since he was born and brought up in Canada he says that is why his Tamil is heavily accented. But heavily accented Tamil is better than undecodable Sanskrit. When he was in Canada he understood his Brahmin ancestory and came to India to learn Sanskrit and scriptures. But Tamil is his ethinicity and after knowing his Tamil connections he did not try to learn Tamil scriptures and also trying to avoid speaking Tamil by giving some silly reason. . In the same serial few episodes back importance of mother tongue was explained ( children were taught Tamil). This stepmotherly treatment given by Brahmins to Tamil was what showed them different than the local Tamil people.( This was probably Sanskrit was must for every brahmin in those days ). There are exceptions always and nowadays the connections with Sanskrit is gone so many feel the connection with Tamil if they are in Tamilnadu atleast. 2. In the argument with Srimathi , Anusha could have added some more points. In case of vaidheega education structure for last 2000 years ( for example) there was no change or development. The system and syllabus are same. 12 years are so one need to study Vedhas and scriptures by staying in a Guru’s place . What they do is byhearting the mantras in those years ( it is might not be easy) and after the education they repeat the same when do the yagna or any Pooja or similar situations. Only option is elaborate or shortcut. Once byhearted it stays in the memory mostly forever. Because of these most of the vaidheegas think in single track only. Vaidheegas are like music players which plays tracks per selection. In case of Engineering or medical fields, for 2000 or so years there has been researches and improvements but the major breakthroughs came in the last few centuries. In these fields , education will give only guidance but there are more opportunities to be creative and more chances for improvements. Unlike vaidheega structure which is applicable only here and that too only for few communities, Engineering/ medical developments are applicable for whole man kind( we may say our mantras are applicable to everybody and seek welfare of everybody). In one corner of earth somebody develops something and that will be applicable for all people ( may be with slight modifications) . That is why these IIT/IIM/ Medical are in more demand ( I am not talking about BA and all which is similar to vaidheega structure except that they won’t get jobs in the same field). 3. After asking questions , when Srimati was countering why Anusha was showing the expressions as if she accepts Srimati’s views. It looked like that she was also in the same views and because she is being shown as the opposite side she was arguing so that viewers can get clarifications from Srimati.
