Thank you Colin. That was without doubt the best and most useful webinar I have ever seen regarding paper choice. Combined with your knowledge dowload I now have the info I need to order test packs to try.

@@PermaJetUK Great! Last question: I've looked for the promised folder full of icc profiles, but can only find individual papers. I have an Epson p700 and would love the folder link if possible please. If not, it's no big deal. thought I'd ask.

This was an invaluable webinar, sorry I missed it live but thanks for publishing, really gives a great idea of what to use and when with the line. I have an addiction to your paper.

Great webinar, I'm new to printing and it will help to guide me through paper choices. The advice to try a print on different papers will certainly be in my initial workflow until I understand printer a bit more. Thanks you.

Brilliant overview. Seems that Monogloss 320 is no longer available. It was a perfect paper for monochromes. Will there be a successor? Thanks.
@PermaJetUK Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately not at this time, but FB Gold Silk 315 is its closest match. It has a less glossy surface but is excellent for monochrome - www.permajet.com/product/fb-gold-silk-315/

Colin, thanks for this clear explanation. On your Permajet website I see a generic icc profile for each type of paper. Am I right that if a profile is mentioned for my type of printer (in my case an Epson ET-8550), that type of paper will also fit my printer in terms of thickness and such?
@PermaJetUK Жыл бұрын
Hi Stefan, yes that's right. The profiles are created by printing a chart on that specific printer, so must be able to handle that media in order to do so. Your particular printer can actually handle up to 800gsm card so you'll have no issues using any of our paper!
