I know I say this often, but really am looking forward to this. I just read an interesting essay by Graham Harman the creator of OOO (Object Oriented Ontology) on Whitehead and Heidegger. And a lot of people have compared Whitheads system to Robert Pirsig, who is one of my all time favorites. So I am curious to see what you have to say about him! (Whitehead)

I love this! Thank you. I've not read Robert Pirsig, but his Zen and the Art. . . is always in the back of my mind. Looks like I'll have to order it and enjoy it this Winter Break. YAY! Thanks for the inspiration. I'll also look up Graham Harman. I love how you are always reading.

@@philosophy_schilling You're welcome, it was a lot of fun to listen to. I want to go and pick it up now. Cannot go wrong with Pirsig, and I have mixed feelings about Harman. He said on an interview you have to read Heidegger in German to truly get him, and I hate pedantic comments like that. I still like some of his ideas, but I prefer someone like Todd McGowan who says he read it in German and its just as obscure in that as english lol. They actually have a good debate on YT. I like how you draw from so many different works for both your videos and classes.

@@Phaedrus88 Oh, thank you so much. I admit, I started learning German at one point, and will probably pick it up again in the summer because I realized I'm reading so many German philosophers. But I assume that translators probably do a pretty good job at the hyphening and footnotes and their general cautionary disclaimers. Thanks for appreciating the interdiscipinary chaos of my mind. Always glad to hear what you think.
