Hi, for the configuration "license smart reservation install " do the device need to able to connect to the CSSM ? My device is in a air-gapped environment, thanks.

Hi there, thanks for your question! In an air-gapped environment, the device does not need to connect to the CSSM for PLR. You can generate a reservation request code from the device and use it in the CSSM portal to reserve a PLR license and generate an authorization code. This authorization code is then entered into the device to make the license reservation effective, without requiring electronic communication with CSSM. We hope this information helps!
